Transport device for transporting eviscerated poultry carcasses or parts thereof
An apparatus for transporting poultry bodies/parts has a transport saddle fastened to a transport unit. A holding apparatus fastens the saddle to the unit, and has a receptacle body for the unit and a fastening body for the saddle. The fastening body is releasably and rotatably connected to the body. The holding apparatus has a latching device to lock the fastening body and saddle, having a latching lever and two latching bolts. The lever on a main body of the receptacle body pivots from a locking position where the lever engaged the bolt into a release position where the lever is out of engagement with the bolt. A first actuating member actuates the lever from the locking into the release position and a second actuating member rotates the fastening body in the release position. First and second magnetic elements with unlike poles pull the lever into the locking position.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR EVISCERATION OF SLAUGHTERED POULTRY
A method for eviscerating slaughtered poultry having a carcass with a viscera pack in a body cavity of the carcass, includes entering the body cavity of the retained carcass with an eviscerating tool via an opened vent end, passing a front end of the eviscerating tool along the breast side of the body cavity so that the front end thereof moves past the viscera pack at least till beyond the liver, using a gizzard pre-lifting tool, which is entered into the body cavity of the retained carcass via the opened vent end, which gizzard pre-lifting tool is operated to grasp the gizzard and/or belly fat bonded to the gizzard and is operated to lift the gizzard thereby entraining a further portion of the viscera pack, the lifting of the gizzard being performed prior to the front end of the eviscerating tool passing along the breast side.

Apparatus for carrying out an operation on slaughtered poultry or on a part of slaughtered poultry
An apparatus for carrying out an operation on slaughtered poultry or on a part of slaughtered poultry. At least one carrier device, a drum which at its periphery is provided with at least one groove, which at least one groove is traced by a roller that is mounted on the at least one carrier device so as to arrange that movement of the at least one carrier device along the periphery of the drum causes the at least one carrier device to execute an operation with reference to the poultry or poultry part. A movable mounting block that supports the roller, wherein the movable mounting block is up-and-down movable with reference to the remainder of the at least one carrier device.
PROCESSING LINE AND METHOD FOR HARVESTING HEARTS FROM VISCERA PACKAGES TAKEN OUT AND DETACHED FROM POULTRY CARCASSES
A processing line for harvesting hearts from viscera packages taken out from poultry carcasses. An apparatus with an infeed section below a conveying track to mechanically grip the viscera package. The infeed section is equipped to transfer the viscera package from which the gizzard is removed to a processing section. An outfeed section that follows the processing section, which outfeed section is arranged to make the heart as separated from the viscera package available at an outlet for the heart.
Device and method for separating at least one tendon that connects a breast fillet of a gutted poultry body, or a part thereof, to a carcass of the poultry body, or a part thereof, and a tool unit therefor
An apparatus to separate a tendon connecting a breast fillet of a gutted poultry body, from which wings have been removed, to a carcass of the poultry body, has a transport apparatus having a transport unit which is driven in a revolving manner, and a holding apparatus fastened thereto to hold the poultry body or part thereof during processing, and a means for separating the tendon. The means for separating is movable from a standby position into a separating position and back. The transport unit, with the holding apparatus, with the formation of a transport path, transports the poultry body or the part thereof in a direction of transport, with the anus side leading, in the direction towards the means for separating. The means for separating the tendon includes at least one combination tool which has a portion that displaces the breast fillet and a portion that separates the tendon.
