A disinfection device with a pressure vessel which has an interior space for receiving a medium, and with at least one radiating device which is arranged such that it emits radiation into the interior space of the pressure vessel, wherein one or several surfaces of the interior space of the pressure vessel are formed at least partially as a reflection surface for the radiation. A particularly reliable sterilization of medical or dental compressed air in the pressure vessel is made possible. One or several disinfection devices according to the invention can be provided in a compressor system for providing compressed air for dental applications, in a dental treatment device with a compressed air device and/or in a connection device with one or several tube sections for guiding compressed air for dental applications.

A dental water jet is provided. The dental water jet may include a base unit, a reservoir supported by the base unit, a handle supported by the base unit, and a container covering an opening of the reservoir. The container may include a base supported by the reservoir and a lid movable relative to the base. The container may be configured to store one or more tips for use with the handle.

An oral rinsing apparatus that washes away plaque, bacteria, and food debris that might reside on the teeth and along the gumline includes a handle, a nozzle, and a water supply line. The handle is adjacently attached to the nozzle. The water supply line that is connected to the handle and positioned opposite to the nozzle. The water supply line is in fluid communication with an existing water source diverter and provides a stream of water into the handle and the nozzle. The stream of water then flows through a first channel of the handle and a second channel of the nozzle before discharges through a head of the nozzle. A flow-activation button of the handle turns on and off the stream of water that exits through the head as a plurality of flow control settings are integrated into the head.

A powder-cleaning device for dental use is provided. It has a proximal arm configured for attachment to a source of compressed air; a distal arm having a distal end configured for dispensing a mixture of air and powder to a patient a turbulence chamber, which has a loading side door configured for insertion of an abrasive powder into the chamber according to a loading direction substantially orthogonal to a plane defined by the prevailing extension s of the arms (DP, DD). The turbulence chamber is interposed between the proximal arm and the distal arm and in fluid communication with both in such a way that the compressed air can be adducted in the turbulence chamber through the proximal arm and a mixture of air and powder can escape therefrom within the distal arm. A controller for compressed air flow is also arranged on the proximal arm upstream of the turbulence chamber.

A handle of an oral irrigator is provided. The handle may include a handle housing with a first segment and a second segment configured to couple together and define a cavity there between, a first set of interior walls extending from the first segment, and a second set of interior walls extending from the second segment. A wall of the first set of interior walls and a wall of the second set of interior walls may limit movement of an oral irrigator component at least partially disposed in the cavity.

An aqueous solution for intraoral cleaning via irradiation with ultraviolet ray and/or near-ultraviolet visible ray and/or ray in an 800-900 nm near-infrared region is employed as the hydrogen peroxide aqueous solution, wherein a concentration of hydrogen peroxide is 1 w/v % to 7 w/v %, and a concentration of a hydrogen peroxide stabilizer is 81 ppm (mg/L) or less in the aqueous solution.

An oral hygiene system includes a mouthpiece having an outer portion and an inner portion configured to receive at least a portion of a user's dental and gum structures, a plurality of filaments disposed within the inner portion of the mouthpiece, a water pressure irrigator configured to be selectively coupled to the outer portion of the mouthpiece and to deliver fluid to the inner portion of the mouthpiece, and a fluid reservoir in fluid communication with the water pressure irrigator and configured to deliver the fluid thereto, wherein the system is configured to generate ultrasound/ultrasonic vibration within the inner portion of the mouthpiece.
