MODULAR ANTIGEN TRANSPORTATION MOLECULES AND USES THEREOF IN ANIMALS
The present invention relates to (isolated) recombinant proteins, also referred to as improved MAT (iMAT) molecules, comprising at least one translocation module, at least one targeting module and at least one antigen module, wherein at least one cysteine residue is substituted with a different amino acid residue. Such iMAT molecules are useful specifically as vaccines, e.g. for therapy and/or prevention of allergies and/or infectious diseases and/or prevention of transmission of infectious diseases in animals, more preferably ruminants, pigs, dogs and/or cats, but excluding equines. The present invention further relates to nucleic acids encoding such iMAT molecules, corresponding vectors and primary cells or cell lines.
SIMULTANEOUS DETECTION OF ANTIGENS AND ANTIGEN SPECIFIC ANTIBODIES IN A GUINEA PIG MODEL SYSTEM
Disclosed herein are methods of determining broadly neutralizing antibodies, antigen specific cell sorting and developing vaccine compositions in a guinea pig model system using LIBRA-seq.
Use of a HIV derived accessory protein for the reactivation of latent HIV
The present invention concerns the use of a protein comprising at least a HIV-derived accessory protein tat (trans-activator of transcription) or any derivative thereof for the reactivation of latent human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from cells present in a HIV-infected patient.
Methods and compositions for inhibiting viral entry into cells
Disclosed herein are methods and compositions for inhibiting viral entry into cells.
SCREENING METHOD FOR THE IDENTIFICATION OF AGENTS CAPABLE OF ACTIVATING CD4+CD25+ REGULATORY T-CELLS THROUGH INTERACTIONS WITH THE HIV-1 GP120 BINDING SITE ON CD4
The present invention relates specific activation of a regulatory T cell via a specific CD4 epitope and uses thereof, e.g. for the treatment of an autoimmune disease or an allergy or asthma or graft rejection or tolerance induction.
THERAPEUTIC APPLICATIONS OF SMAD7
The invention provides methods and compositions for the treatment of inflammatory and/or tissue damage conditions. In particular, the use of Smad7 compositions delivered locally or systematically to a site of inflammation and/or tissue damage is described. Other specific embodiments concern treatment or prevention of side effects caused by radiation and/or chemotherapy, including but not limited to mucositis.
Compositions and methods for treating HIV infection and reversing HIV latency
Disclosed herein are compositions and uses thereof for detecting HIV latency reversal, isolating cells with HIV latency reversal, treating HIV infection, and/or reversing latency in HIV infected CD4+ T cells. In some aspects, disclosed herein is a composition and uses thereof for treating HIV infection, wherein the composition comprises one or more mature monocyte-derived dendritic cells (MDGs) having an HIV peptide bound to a Class I major histocompatibility complex (MHC) molecule and a herpesvirus peptide bound to one or more Class II MHC molecules.
