SYSTEM FOR THE ELIMINATION OF PARASITES ADHERED TO FISH, BY DIRECTLY APPLYING ELECTRICITY TO THE FISH, REMOVING THE PARASITES WITHOUT HARMING THE FISH
20190269107 · 2019-09-05 ·

The invention relates to a system for the elimination of parasites adhered to fish, by directly applying electricity to the fish, thereby removing the parasites without harming the fish, the system comprising: an entry and drainage area (1) that allows the fish to be separated from the water transporting them, which is joined to an application area (2) where electricity is applied to the fish, by means of contact with electrodes (3, 3b) such as curtain electrodes (3) and/or grill electrodes (3b), the electricity being controlled by a control unit (4) that regulate and sets the intensity, voltage and electrical frequency required to remove the parasites without harming the fish; spray nozzles (5) installed in the application area, which spray water on the fish to cause the parasites to fall off and move through a return chute (9) that is installed below the application area to receive the sprayed water and parasites contained therein and channel same into a drain; a capturing filter (6) installed in a drainage pipe of the return chute, which traps the parasites, allowing only water to pass to a pond (7) that stores the water for spraying and recovers the water by means of the return chute (9); a pump (8) that pumps the water to the spray nozzles (5); and an outlet (10), tube or pipe joined to the application area, through which the fish return to their environment, without parasites.

FISH PROCESSING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
20240164392 · 2024-05-23 ·

A fish processing system includes a measurement sensor configured to measure a distance across a head of a fish as the fish moves along a conveyor. A drive mechanism provides movement of a blade across a transport path of the fish along the conveyor in response to the determined distance to accurately sever the head of the fish based on the size of the fish. The system may also include a detection sensor for closing a wall of a trough to reject fish with heads that are not properly removed by the blade as well as an adjustment cylinder to vary a position of a conveyor relative to a fish processing subsystem to avoid jamming. Related methods for severing a portion of each fish in a series of transported fish based on the size of each fish are also provided.

CUTTING MACHINE AS WELL AS METHOD FOR CUTTING ELASTIC STRINGS, IN PARTICULAR MEAT STRINGS
20190232516 · 2019-08-01 ·

A cutting machine comprising one or more form tubes that are divided in two in the longitudinal direction into a front form tube section and a rear form tube sectionat least across a portion of its circumference, so that the two form sections can be moved from a pressing position in which they are aligned with each other into a loading position in which they are not aligned with each other, and in the loading position the rear form tube section can be loaded with a new meat strand while the rest of the previous meat strand is still being cut into slices and moved in the front form tube section. The blade may be disposed to simultaneously cut slices from a plurality of form tubes and may be disposed for motion in the longitudinal direction as well as a direction transverse to the longitudinal direction.

CUTTING MACHINE AS WELL AS METHOD FOR CUTTING ELASTIC STRINGS, IN PARTICULAR MEAT STRINGS

A cutting machine for cutting up pre-compressed meat strands into slices and a method for slicing pre-compressed meat strands, wherein the blade is moved forward in the feed direction to a limited extent after the blade has completely cut off a slice, and is either subsequently or simultaneously moved backward in the transversal direction. In this way, the forward movement of the meat strand to cut off the next slice can be started earlier.

The present invention relates to a method and a device for batching fish into cooling devices. The method and the device can be used for receiving fish after bleeding and gutting freshly caught fish on board a fishing vessel and batching the fish into cooling devices. The batching and cooling apparatus and method may be used to increase the value of the fish by shortening the time from the fish is caught until the fish is chilled for storing.
