Denture system and method of manufacturing a denture
Method for manufacturing a drilling template (9) and a support piece (3) for positioning this drilling template (9) in relation to the bone of a jaw, wherein a digital model of the dental prosthesis is designed starting from a digital mould such that it can fit to soft tissue of the jaw. According to the invention, a provisional dental prosthesis is manufactured based on the digital model, wherein this provisional dental prosthesis is positioned on the jaw and at least one image of the jaw with the dental prosthesis (1) is generated by means of tomography, wherein a position and orientation for said at least one implant are then selected on the basis of said image.
Tissue Borne Fixation System, Device, and Methods of Making and Using Same
A surgical guide foundation system, device, and methods of making and using same. The surgical guide foundation system may include one or more foundation devices. The one or more foundation devices may include a main body portion, one or more fixation ports formed in the main body portion and forming a passage therethrough, and one or more carrier connectors (e.g., plug connector style latches) formed on the main body portion. The surgical guide foundation system may further include a guide component. The guide component may be configured to be engageable with one or more of the one or more carrier connectors. The main body portion may include protrusions formed on an inner facing surface of the main body portion and extending in a generally perpendicular direction therefrom.
Tissue Borne Stackable Foundation Guide and Method of Making and Using Same
A tissue borne stackable foundation guide is provided. The foundation guide may include a main body; first connectors formed on and spaced about an outer surface of the main body; one or more ports spaced about the main body and forming a passage therethrough; and protrusions formed on an inner surface of the main body and extending in a generally perpendicular direction therefrom.
DENTAL IMPLANT
A dental implant includes a fixture implanted into an alveolar bone, an abutment fixed to an upper part of the fixture and having a core hole formed in a center of an upper surface of the abutment, a crown bonded to an upper outer side of the abutment and having a passage vertically formed through a center of the crown, and a cover screw having a screw screw-fastened to the core hole and a head in close contact between an upper surface of the abutment and a lower surface of the crow to cover the core hole, in which, when the screw is released by a tool passing through the passage, the head moves up so that the cover screw provides a separating force to the crown. The dental implant may facilitate a separation of the crown and prevent binding force from weakening, thereby enabling an efficient procedure and management.
Dental Prosthesis
A dental prosthesis having a guide hole formed therein. The guide hole is configured to guide a drilling for a screw, and configured to receive the screw, holding the prosthesis in place when screwed into the bone of a patient.
Retainerless orthodontic implant system
A retainerless orthodontic dental implant system for positioning the mandible forward relative to the maxilla and for facilitating optimal airflow during sleep and a method of using such a system.
Dental Implant
In a dental implant (1) comprising a post part (2) which can be placed in a jaw bone and comprising a structural part (4) associated with said post part, to which structural part a denture piece can be attached, the structural part comprising an integrally moulded contact pin (8) which can be placed in an associated shaped recess (10) in the post part (2) with a positive fit, it is to be possible on the one hand to suitably index the implant in a simple and reliable manner, on the other hand a particularly high level of mechanical stability against rotation being ensured, even with an overall height which is kept low. For this purpose, in accordance with the invention the cross-sections of the contact pin (8) integrally moulded on the structural part and of the shaped recess (10), associated with said contact pin, in the post part (2) each have a number of primary directions in which the radius in each case adopts a relative maximum value, the outer contour of the cross-section being selected in such a way that it is intersected at at most two points by any straight lines, and each point has only one tangent.
Dental abutment screw
An abutment screw having a first hardness for use in affixing a dental prosthetic, having a second hardness less than the first hardness, to an abutment that itself is attachable to an implant in the mouth of a patient includes a head and a body. The body includes a smooth shank immediately proximate the head, and a threaded portion with a helical ridge that runs around its body, the helical ridge beginning at a point along the body distal the head portion. The head includes an upper surface, having a drive at a central portion thereof, and an underside surface having a convex radiused curvature extending until it meets the shaft, the convex radiused curvature being configured to conform to a corresponding concave curvature of a receiving portion of the prosthesis.
Zirconium Post
A dental post made from a zirconia compound, wherein said zirconia compound is at least one of a pure zirconia puck, a zirconia stabilized with yttria (yttrium oxide) compound, a cubic zirconia compound, a Partially Stabilized Zirconia (PSZ) compound, a Tetragonal Zirconia Polycrystal (TZP) compound and a Zirconium based bulk metallic glass (BMG).
Alveolar membrane
An alveolar membrane includes: a connecting portion being provided thereon with a through hole for an artificial toothroot to pass therethrough; a capping portion having its one end connected to the connecting portion and including a plurality of openings; and a fixing portion being located at an opposite end of the capping portion and having at least one digit that has a tip to be fixed in osseous tissue or between osseous tissue and soft tissue. With the connecting portion and the fixing portion at its two ends both fixed, the alveolar membrane firmly holds the osseous graft in position.
