DENTAL IMPLANT METHOD AND APPARATUS
A method of manufacturing a dental implant wherein the resulting dental implant closely corresponds to or matches the size and shape of the extracted tooth. Generally stated, the method comprises the steps of (i) three dimensionally mapping the size and shape of the crown and root of a tooth to be extracted and (ii) using said mapping to manufacture a dental implant to correspond to the size and the shape of said crown and root of the tooth to be extracted. Further, the resulting dental implant may comprise a number of anti-migratory structural features that function to better secure the dental implant to the patient.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SINGLE-TOOTH REPLACEMENT STRUCTURE USING A 3D PRINTER, 3D PRINTER FOR PRODUCING A SINGLE-TOOTH REPLACEMENT STRUCTURE, AND SINGLE-TOOTH REPLACEMENT STRUCTURE
The present invention relates to a method for producing a single-tooth replacement structure (50) or a single-tooth replacement structure (50) with a substructure (51) using a 3D printer (10) comprising at least a first applicator (A1) and a carrier (T). The method comprises the following steps: i. placing a substructure (51) on the carrier (T); ii. applying material, in particular applying a composite material (K), to the substructure (51) by means of the first applicator (A1) from a first direction (r.sub.1) relative to the substructure (51); iii. rotating the substructure (51) placed on the carrier (T) about a first axis of rotation (a) through a first angle () relative to the first applicator (A1); iv. applying material, in particular applying a composite material, to the substructure (51) by means of the first applicator (A1) from a second direction (r.sub.2) relative to the substructure (51); v. optionally: iteratively repeating steps iii and iv. The single-tooth replacement structure (50) is produced by means of this method. The invention also comprises a 3D printer (10) for producing a single-tooth replacement structure (50) or a single-tooth replacement structure (50) with a substructure (51), and a single-tooth replacement structure (50) or single-tooth replacement structure (50) with a substructure (51) which can be produced using said 3D printer.
System and method for manufacturing layered dentures
A method of manufacturing a layered denture in which the enamel layer or the tooth layer is manufactured first and the denture base is manufactured last. The resulting denture may exhibit an enamel layer or a tooth layer with enhanced strength and/or resiliency. The resulting denture may have one or more of an integrated layer, balanced occlusion, and a root approximating structure.
ROOT-ANALOG DENTAL IMPLANTS AND SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS FOR DESIGNING AND MANUFACTURING SAME
A root portion of a root-analog dental implant may include a core positioned in an approximate center of the root portion of the dental implant. The core may provide mechanical strength and/or support for the dental implant and may include one or more struts. The root-analog dental implant may further include a porous surface positioned on a portion of a vertically oriented exterior surface of the core. The struts may be configured and arranged to provide mechanical strength and/or support for the root-analog dental implant.
IMPLANTABLE OBJECTS, GUIDING DEVICES, AND METHODS OF USE THEREOF
Embodiments of the disclosure relate to implantable objects and guiding devices, as well as recipient site preparation instruments, bone-implantable materials, and methods of fabrication and use thereof.
MULTI-COMPONENT DENTAL IMPLANT SYSTEM
Dental implants for fixed and removable prosthetic devices, having application to single tooth replacement, e.g., caps and crowns, and multiple tooth replacement using one or more implants, e.g., bridges, and multiple implants for full and partial prosthetic devices. Dental implants include an implant and an abutment configured to mate with the implant in a non-rotatable fashion. The implant may have a cylindrical or a non-cylindrical shape. In one embodiment, the dental implant includes a first stage implant and a second stage implant. The second stage implant is interconnectable to the first stage implant and includes an abutment with an anatomical emergence profile. Further, dental reconstruction and abutment installation methods utilizing the dental implant systems and instruments are disclosed. Also provided are impression taking procedures, and impression copings that produce an accurate fit between the dental prosthesis and the dental implant.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING AN ANATOMICAL DENTAL IMPLANT
A method for producing a bone replacement, a cavity or a bone being detected in a fully automated manner and the bone replacement being produced based on the detection also in a fully automated manner. It is also possible to produce information in relation to medical instruments or navigation information in a fully automated manner.
ANCHORING SYSTEM FOR PROSTHETICS
This invention is a new single piece dental prosthetic, a root section connected to the decorative crown section, becoming one part, with a bifurcated root for better anchoring and cleaning action, characterized by: Its simplicity makes it less expensive, and affordable by persons of limited means. Simpler, easier implementation than previous systems. This reliable system provides a new type of anchoring.
The present invention is a reliable system with several fastening systems.
It is also new way to make an implant less costly, and therefore more affordable by poor persons of low income status.
This is done by simplifying the above mentioned procedures, and using new method's such as bifurcation and circular ridge fastening.
INTEGRATED SUPPORT DEVICE FOR PROVIDING TEMPORARY PRIMARY STABILITY TO DENTAL IMPLANTS AND PROSTHESIS, AND RELATED METHODS
Integrated support devices for providing temporary primary stability to a dental prosthesis implant, each individually designed and manufactured for a specific pre-identify patient are also provided. An integrated support device can include a prosthesis interface member configured to connect to an abutment or reduced sized portion of a dental prosthesis/implant. The integrated support device also includes one or more bonding wings for connecting to the adjacent healthy teeth.
DENTAL IMPLANT AND DENTAL IMPLANT SYSTEM
A dental implant includes an implant body with a coronally open cavity as well as at least one exit opening from an inside to the enossal outer surface. A thermoplastic element in the solid condition is arranged in the cavity or is introducible into the cavity and can be brought into an at least partly flowable condition by way of applying a pressing force, which is directed apically into the cavity, and mechanical oscillations and in this condition at least a share of the flowable material of the thermoplastic element can be pressed through the at least one exit opening into surrounding bone tissue on account of the pressing force, when the implant body is arranged in an opening in the bone tissue and the enossal outer surface is in contact with the bone tissue.
