A dental implant is described and includes a threaded coronal portion having a top hollow part with a cavity and an opening in a top portion of the hollow part, wherein the top hollow part is defined by sacrificial walls of the coronal portion, wherein a width of the cavity and the opening allows insertion of a cutting element of a dental saw into the cavity.

MULTI-COMPONENT DENTAL IMPLANT SYSTEM
20180344434 · 2018-12-06 ·

Dental implants for fixed and removable prosthetic devices, having application to single tooth replacement, e.g., caps and crowns, and multiple tooth replacement using one or more implants, e.g., bridges, and multiple implants for full and partial prosthetic devices. Dental implants include an implant and an abutment configured to mate with the implant in a non-rotatable fashion. The implant may have a cylindrical or a non-cylindrical shape. In one embodiment, the dental implant includes a first stage implant and a second stage implant. The second stage implant is interconnectable to the first stage implant and includes an abutment with an anatomical emergence profile. Further, dental reconstruction and abutment installation methods utilizing the dental implant systems and instruments are disclosed. Also provided are impression taking procedures, and impression copings that produce an accurate fit between the dental prosthesis and the dental implant.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ANATOMIC RESTORATION DENTAL IMPLANT HAVING A TWO-PIECE REINFORCED ZIRCONIUM DIOXIDE BASE AND TITANIUM INSERT
20180333237 · 2018-11-22 ·

A two-piece anatomic dental implant with a Zirconium Dioxide base and a titanium insert. The Zirconium Dioxide base having a milled shaft into which a titanium insert is press fit retained with members to prevent rotation of the titanium insert within the Zirconium Dioxide implant. The present invention only allows metal screws from attachments to be threaded into a metal titanium insert and not threaded into a Zirconia Implant base. The invention includes an improved design for a healing cap providing minimal contact between the stronger material such as titanium and the Zirconium Dioxide.

A system and method is provided for performing internal maxillary sinus lift procedures where the system and method employs a set of sequentially deployed surgical drill bits to be used in conjunction with a dental implant surgical kit for performing internal maxillary sinus lift procedures in the dental implant surgical situations where the sub-antral bone height is not adequate to host an implant.

Dental Implant System
20180271626 · 2018-09-27 ·

A dental prosthesis securing system secures a dental prosthesis to a dental implant. An abutment for cement has a base surface for placement against the dental implant. The base surface does not define an engagement shape that requires alignment with a complementary shape defined by the implant. A securing mechanism secures the abutment for cement to the dental implant.

Angulated Dental Implant
20240315811 · 2024-09-26 ·

A dental implant includes a generally cylindrical body, an interior bore, and a non-rotational feature. The generally cylindrical body has a main-central axis and is formed from cold-worked, high strength, commercially pure titanium having an ultimate tensile strength of at least about 900 MPa. The generally cylindrical body has a proximal portion and an opposing distal portion for anchoring the dental implant in bone of a patient. The interior bore is formed in the generally cylindrical body and has (i) a bore-central axis and (ii) a threaded portion for receiving a screw that is configured to removable hold an abutment in engagement with the dental implant. The non-rotational feature is configured to engage the abutment in a non-rotational fashion.

Asymmetric Zygomatic Dental Implant With Partial Micro Thread/Groove

A zygomatic dental implant includes a generally cylindrical body, an interior threaded bore, and an asymmetrical external feature. The generally cylindrical body has a coronal portion and an apical portion. The generally cylindrical body has a main-central axis. The interior threaded bore is formed in the coronal portion of the generally cylindrical body for receiving a screw configured to removably hold an abutment in engagement with the zygomatic dental implant. The interior threaded bore has a bore-central axis. The asymmetrical external feature is on at least a portion of a first side of the generally cylindrical body such that the asymmetrical external feature is configured to directly engage alveolar bone of the patient. The asymmetrical external feature includes a plurality of circumferentially extending grooves.
