The present invention relates to BVD virus and to its uses, to vaccines and combination vaccines comprising such a virus, their use as a medicament, their use in the treatment of Bovine Viral Diarrhea and to methods for the preparation of such vaccines.

CHIMERIC PESTIVIRUSES

The present invention relates to chimeric pestiviruses having utility as immunogenic compositions and vaccines. Also described herein are methods and kits for treating or preventing the spread of bovine viral diarrhea virus infection, as well as methods and kits for differentiating between vaccinated and wild-type infected animals.

Cattle reproductive disease vaccines

The present invention relates to combination vaccines and methods for treating or preventing diseases or disorders in an animal caused by infection by Bovine Viral Diarrhea Virus (BVDV) Types 1 and 2, Bovine Herpes Virus Type-1 (BHV-1), Bovine Respiratory Syncytial Virus (BRSV), Parainfluenza Virus (PI.sub.3), Campylobacter fetus, Leptospira canicola, Leptospira grippotyphosa, Leptospira hardj-prajitno, Leptospira icterohaemmorrhagiae, Leptospira hardjo-bovis and Leptospira pomona by administering to the animal an effective amount of a combination vaccine. The combination vaccine can be a whole or partial cell inactivated or modified live preparation.

RECOMBINANT CLASSICAL SWINE FEVER VIRUS (CSFV) COMPRISING SUBSTITUTION IN THE TAV EPITOPE OF THE E2 PROTEIN
20170119870 · 2017-05-04 ·

The present invention relates i.a. to a CSFV (classical swine fever virus) comprising a substitution of proline to lysine at amino acid position 44 of the E2 protein and a substitution of threonine to aspartic acid at amino acid position 45 of the E2 protein. Further, the present invention provides an immunogenic composition comprising the CSFV of the present invention and the use of the immunogenic composition for reducing the incidence of or severity in an animal of one or more clinical signs associated with CSF. Moreover, the present invention provides a method of differentiating animals infected with CSFV from animals vaccinated with the immunogenic composition of the present invention.

NUCLEIC ACID AMPLIFICATION CONTROLS
20170107585 · 2017-04-20 ·

The present invention discloses positive control material for nucleic acid amplification based detection of microorganisms in biological samples. The control material comprises purified microorganism that is rendered non-infectious but is amenable to nucleic acid amplification. Also disclosed is a process for making and using the control material.

IMMUNOSTIMULATORY PREPARATION AND COSMETIC, FOOD, FEED ADDITIVE, AND QUASI-PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCT CONTAINING THE IMMUNOSTIMULATORY PREPARATION
20250288663 · 2025-09-18 ·

Provided is an immunostimulatory preparation which is a protein obtained by fusing a bacteria-derived heat shock protein (HSP: heat shock protein) and a viral peptide antigen, and enables induction of a highly diverse immunoglobulin by simultaneously stimulating nasal, respiratory, and oral administration. Provided are a feed, a feed additive, and an environmental symbiotic preparation for livestock, or a cosmetic, a food, and a quasi-pharmaceutical product for humans, which enable symbiosis with an environmental microorganism containing the immunostimulatory preparation. Provided are a preparation, a cosmetic for humans, a food, and a quasi-pharmaceutical product that enable symbiosis with environmental microorganisms utilizing livestock-derived IgA, IgG, and IgY among the immunoglobulins.
