DENTAL IMPLANT PLUG

Plug-(1,9,10) is a solid shape, fabricated by 3D printers from dental resin, designed in Cylindrical-(1), Conical-(9) and Double Cylindrical-(10) shapes with straight leveled top heads-(2) and with 3 inclined leveled top heads of 30 (3), 45 (4) and 60 (5) for (1,10) with in the center of the top head a shallow Sinkhole-(8) as guidance point and at 0.25 mm a Handling Pin-(6,7) for transport, with a narrow Neck-(7) at the bottom as breaking point after positioning. Plug (1,9,10) is used to close the holes, that are left open after screwing abutments, and prosthetic reconstructions on implants. These screw holes have to be closed. If material obstructs the screw head, it is impossible to unscrew when needed, as screwdrivers will not fit. Plugs are Fabricated precisely in the diameters of the internal walls of the holes, thus creating a friction and a vacuum when placed, and insuring a precise fit without other aids.

Dental implant, comprising an external thread arranged on an outside of the dental implant for fastening the dental implant to a jawbone. Further, the implant comprises an opening extending along a longitudinal axis of the dental implant, in which opening an internal thread for fastening a superstructure to the dental implant is arranged. Still further, the implant comprises an interface for fastening the superstructure to the dental implant, which interface is arranged at a front end of the dental implant. The interface is suitable for direct attachment of a superstructure to the dental implant without the use of an abutment.

DENTAL IMPLANT AND DENTAL IMPLANT SYSTEM
20210068931 · 2021-03-11 ·

A dental implant includes an implant body with a coronally open cavity and at least one exit opening from an inside to the enossal outer surface. A thermoplastic element in the solid state is arranged in the cavity, and is brought into an at least partly flowable condition by applying a pressing force directed apically into the cavity, and mechanical oscillations. A portion of the flowable material of the thermoplastic element is pressed through the exit opening into surrounding bone tissue, when the implant body is arranged in an opening in the bone tissue and the enossal outer surface is in contact with the bone tissue. A re-solidification of the thermoplastic material after discontinuing the vibrations causes an anchoring through the connection between interpenetrated tissue and the implant body via the thermoplastic material penetrating both.

MAXIMIZED AREA OSSEOINTEGRATED CUSTOM IMPLANTS

Customized dental implants feature enhanced osseointegrable qualities by manufacturing the implant post with osseointegrable material and preparing a larger post body, including a portion to cover a prepared bone surface, to integrate with a jawbone. Resultant implants are more durable and provide a better fir into the oral cavity. Various implant shapes and designs are disclosed.

Prosthetic assembly and method for producing the same

The present invention relates to a prosthetic assembly (1, 10, 100) comprising a prosthetic component (2, 20, 200) and a retention screw (6, 60, 600) with an interference geometry (5, 50, 500) designed to allow relative rotation, limit relative longitudinal motion and inseparably join the prosthetic component (2, 20, 200) and the retention screw (6, 60, 600). The interference geometry (5, 50, 500) can be in the form of a ring attached to the retention screw (6) in a portion of the body of this screw (6) having a smaller diameter, or in the form of one or more inwardly folded flaps integrated in the prosthetic component (20) and diametrically distributed around the base thereof, or in the form of a uniform, tapered and hollow projection of the lower portion of the prosthetic element (200). The invention further relates to a method for producing the disclosed prosthetic assembly (1, 10, 100), including the following steps: forming a prosthetic component (2, 20, 200) having a central hole (8, 80) for receiving the retention screw (6, 60, 600), forming a retention screw (6, 60, 600), the body of which has a portion having a smaller diameter (62, 602), inserting the retention screw (6, 60, 600) into the central hole (8, 80) of the prosthetic component (2, 20, 200), and forming an interference geometry (5, 50, 500) between the base of the prosthetic component (2, 20, 200) and the body of the retention screw (6, 60, 600).
