Gum Graft Collector
A graft collector designed to facilitate and offer greater precision in performing the cutting and “dissection” of an area of the donor tissue in grafting operations. The graft collector is set as an anatomical grip handle based on a support head and fixation of a removable curved or angled blade. The cutting blade is provided with a cutting edge on two opposite sides, being folded in two points at 90°. The constructive arrangement of the graft collector allows the fixation of the cutting blade and its loosening and release for replacement. The said graft collector is a precise and anatomical grip instrument, designed for the good manual performance of the professional when cutting and removing the tissue to be used as a graft.
Device to deliver flowable material to the sinus
A special tube is disclosed for the insertion of materials inside the maxillary sinus in order to displace the Schneiderian membrane. The tube is connected to a source of a flowable material. The tube is inserted through the alveolar ridge beneath the maxillary sinus and when the flowable material is advanced through the tube the Schneiderian membrane is lifted. The tube can be part of a dental implant which is screwed inside the alveolar ridge.
Surgical tool with flexible shaft
An implant system can include a first rotatable flexible shaft comprising a biocompatible material and configured to be used as an implant for placement in the human body, the implant including an implant driving element positioned at a proximal end; a second rotatable flexible shaft including a cutting drill positioned at a distal end and a drill driving element positioned at a proximal end; and a surgical tool capable of being connected, in the alternative, to the drill driving element for forming a recessed surgical site and to the implant driving element for placing the implant in the recessed surgical site.
DEVICES AND METHODS FOR MEASURING BLOOD PRESSURE
A portable blood pressure monitoring device capable of wirelessly interacting with a secondary device, such as a cell phone, to measure blood pressure of a patient wherein the device is configurable to fold into a low profile storage configuration. The blood pressure monitoring device includes a cuff for wrapping around the limb of a subject the cuff further having a an inflatable bladder formed integrally therein, wherein the cuff is substantially rectangular in shape having a first surface, a second surface, a first end, a second end, and two sides, and a securement mechanism; one or more tubes positioned within the cuff in communication with the inflatable bladder; an exhaust valve; a displayless housing connected to one of a first end and a second end of the cuff wherein the housing includes one or more of a controller, a memory, a pump, a power supply, and a motor; and a transmitter for wirelessly transmitting blood pressure data to a second device.
Bone implant drill
A bone implant drill includes a bearing received in a sleeve. A transmission shaft includes a rod extending through the bearing and a transmission member formed on an end of the rod and received in the sleeve. The other end of the rod extends beyond the sleeve. A cutting rod includes a cutter, a coupling member received in the sleeve, and a positioning member between the cutter and the coupling member. The cutter and the coupling member are provided on two ends of the cutting rod respectively. The coupling member includes second teeth releasably engageable with first teeth on a free end of the transmission member. An elastic element is mounted in the sleeve. The elastic element includes a first end mounted around the coupling member and abutting the positioning member. The elastic element further includes a second end mounted around the transmission member and abutting the bearing.
Bone graft injection device
Apparatus is provided that includes a surgical tool for use with solid particles and a physiological liquid solution. The surgical tool includes (a) a shaft unit, which is shaped so as to define a delivery lumen, and a distal opening, which is disposed within 10 mm of a distal end of the shaft unit, in fluid communication with the delivery lumen; (b) a composition source, which is coupled in fluid communication with the delivery lumen, and which is configured to provide a solid-liquid composition of the solid particles and the physiological liquid solution; and (c) a pump, which is configured to pump the solid-liquid composition through the distal opening via the delivery lumen.
Dental sinus lift device for implant rehabilitation
A dental device comprises a distal part having a first lateral hole formed on a lateral side of the distal part; a middle part connected to the distal part; and a proximal part connected to the middle part, wherein the dental device has a central lumen penetrating the proximal part, the middle part, and the distal part and communicating to the first lateral hole and wherein the distal part has an exit of the central lumen at a distal end and the proximal part has an entrance of the central lumen at a proximal end.
IMPLANT PLATE DEVICE
An implant plate device comprises a plate base body, further comprises at least one fixing recess, which is introduced in the plate base body and is configured for receiving a jawbone screw that is configured, for a fixation of the plate base body, to be screwed through the fixing recess into a bone, in particular a jawbone, and comprises at least one inner thread adjoining the fixing recess, wherein the implant plate device comprises at least one functional recess, introduced in the plate base body, for a coupling with an orthodontic treatment apparatus and/or with a drilling and/or insertion templet.
DRILL FOR DENTAL IMPLANT PROCEDURE
A drill for dental implant procedure is provided. The drill for dental implant procedure may include a body portion extending in a longitudinal direction and including cylindrical first and second rotating portions rotatable in both directions about a central axis, wherein the first rotating portion comprising: a cutting head portion disposed at a front end of the first rotating portion and including a tip surface with round shape; a first spiral groove portion connected to the cutting head portion and including at least one or more grooves along the spiral around the central axis; and a first cutting side surface portion connected to the first spiral groove portion and formed to have a slope inclined upward from the cutting head portion in the shape of a predetermined plate protruding from the central axis, wherein the second rotating portion formed integrally with the first rotating portion comprising: a second spiral groove portion connected to the first rotating portion and including at least one or more grooves along the spiral around the central axis; and a second cutting side surface portion connected to the first spiral groove portion and formed to have a slope inclined unward from the first rotating portion in the shape of a predetermined plate protruding from the central axis.
Drug delivery system and method for controlled and continuous delivery of drugs into the brain by bypassing the blood brain barrier
The present invention provides devices and methods for controlled and continuous delivery of drugs into the brain by bypassing the blood brain barrier, without the need for any surgical manipulation of the brain. The respiratory mucosa in the maxillary sinus or in the nasal region is surgically accessed from the oral or maxillofacial region through a window made on the bone overlying the mucosa. The device is used to deliver drugs in a continuous and controlled manner either beneath or above the respiratory mucosa depending on the clinical requirements, drug formulation and the volume of drug used. The drug distributes into the brain from the delivery site by bypassing the blood brain barrier without causing any significant increase of the drug in the peripheral circulation. The device can be used for continuous and controlled drug delivery into the brain by bypassing the blood brain barrier for a number of medical conditions.
