A plate denture manufacturing method includes preparing three-dimensional data for an artificial tooth impression and a plate denture, preparing a denture mold including a bottom wall, a side wall, a forming space which is surrounded by the bottom wall and the side wall and into which a denture base material is to be poured, a cutting target region to be cut by a cutting apparatus, and vent holes passing through the bottom wall, cutting a groove in the cutting target region using the cutting apparatus, placing the denture mold on a holder, placing an artificial tooth in the groove, pouring the denture base material into the forming space and curing the denture base material so as to fabricate a one-piece product including the denture mold, the artificial tooth, and a cured product of the denture base material that are integral with each other, and machining the cured product.

A method of fabricating a denture, comprising milling a preliminary try-in denture from denture material comprising a layer of denture base material contiguous with a layer of denture tooth material. Denture base material is removed from the block to form a first part of the, labial, buccal, gingival, and flange regions of the denture base to form a preliminary denture. A preliminary mold is created from this preliminary denture. The preliminary denture is then further modified with deformable waxes in gingival and anterior tooth recesses to form a preliminary try-in denture, which is fitted to a patient and adjusted to optimal dimensions. The adjusted try-in denture is then reproduced by further molding methods, producing the final denture.

Different layer of material has different mechanical and physical properties to meet different need, which provide added benefits to the patients, dental professional and dental laboratory.

A custom oral device is provided that fits on the maxillary or mandibular arch of a wearer. The oral device comprises a tray that corresponds with the shape and size of a wearer's oral anatomy. A soft liner is disposed within an occlusal channel of the tray having an upper surface that comprises an impression having features that correspond to at least a portion of the wearer's dentition and in which the wearer's teeth align. Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a dental prosthesis, including a step of digitally designing a dental prosthesis model from a replica model of a patient's teeth, a step of generating a jaw portion model including the teeth replica model and the dental prosthesis model, a step of manufacturing a jaw portion including a positioning member based on the model of the jaw portion, and a step of positioning the jaw portion on a shell of a shell mold by the interaction of the positioning member of the jaw portion with a complementary positioning member arranged in the shell. Also disclosed is a shell mold used in such a method.
