The invention relates to a method to produce a dental structure with a cavity having a negative form of the structure, which is formed in an investment material, wherein flowable lithium silicate glass ceramic is pressed into the cavity. Thereby a compressive surface stress is created in the ceramic structure through the replacement of lithium ions by alkali ions, in that the model is enriched with alkali compounds and/or the model is covered with a layer of a material containing alkali ions.

DENTAL ALL-CERAMIC RESTORATION AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
20170231730 · 2017-08-17 ·

A dental all-ceramic restoration and manufacturing method thereof; the outer surface of the dental all-ceramic restoration has neither visible marks remaining from the removal of the connecting bars (7) nor local grinding traces and chipping, and is smooth with uniform structure. The manufacturing method thereof is wet-forming or milling. No connecting bars are needed to connect the dental restoration bodies (3) with a surrounding mould blank or ceramic blank. This eliminates the need for manually cutting off the connecting bars (7) to separate the forming body from the surrounding ceramic blank, further grinding and polishing process to treat the excessively rough outer surface, and thereby reducing the risk of chipping and premature failure. In the manufacturing processes thereof, the hardened ceramic green body (2) made by wet-forming technique has more homogenous microstructure and less particle packing defects than the dry-pressed blanks and partially sintered blanks. Furthermore, higher surface smoothness can be obtained by milling unsintered hardened ceramic green body than by milling partially sintered blanks. The dental all-ceramic restoration has a high degree of surface finish, and can be directly used without polishing, veneering or glazing.

A preliminary product for the production of prosthetic teeth for a dental prosthesis, the preliminary product having a plurality of prefabricated prosthetic teeth and a mounting geometry, the prefabricated prosthetic teeth having a preformed coronal surface and a preformed circumferential surface which adjoins the coronal surface, the mounting geometry having at least one strut, wherein the at least one strut is embodied in one piece with at least one of the prefabricated prosthetic teeth, wherein the prefabricated prosthetic teeth are fixable in position with the mounting geometry in a mount of a CAM apparatus in such a way that the prefabricated prosthetic teeth are mechanically machinable with the CAM apparatus.

Also provided is a method for the production of such a preliminary product and to a method for the production of a dental prosthesis using a CAM method.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BLANK, BLANK AND A DENTAL RESTORATION

The invention relates to a method for the preparation of a blank of a ceramic material, wherein a first ceramic material and then a second ceramic material of different compositions are filled into a die and wherein the materials are pressed and after pressing are sintered. A layer of the first ceramic material is thereby filled into the die and a first cavity formed in the layer, the second ceramic material is then filled into the first open cavity and the materials pressed together and then heat-treated.

DENTAL PROSTHESIS AND MOULDING METHOD

A dental prosthesis is disclosed includes a prosthetic tooth element comprising ceramic and a veneer located on a surface of the prosthetic tooth element, the veneer comprising cured dental composite. The prosthetic tooth element can be fixed to a mount in a patient's mouth using the same dental composite used for the veneer. A method of forming a prosthetic tooth element is disclosed including filling a mould that is formed at least partially from flexible polymeric material with a dental mixture comprising ceramic, and applying pressure to the filled mould to form a prosthetic tooth element comprising ceramic with a roughened surface.

DENTAL RESTORATION MOLDS

A custom tool for forming a dental restoration in a mouth of a patient includes a first mold body providing for a customized fit with at least one tooth of the patient. The first mold body includes a portion corresponding with at least a first surface of the tooth and an interproximal portion corresponding with an interproximal surface of the tooth, the interproximal portion being of unitary construction. The first mold body is configured to combine with the tooth of the patient to form a mold cavity encompassing a first portion of missing tooth structure of the tooth.

DENTAL RESTORATION MOLDS

A tool for forming a dental restoration includes a mold body configured to provide a customized fit with at least one tooth of a patient. In some examples, the mold body defines an aperture configured to align with a portion of a surface of a tooth. The aperture is sufficiently large to allow placement and flow of restorative material over the desired portion of the surface of the tooth to be restored. The mold body is configured to combine with the at least one tooth of the patient to define a mold cavity encompassing at least a portion of desired tooth structure of the tooth to be restored.

DENTAL IMPLANT HAVING FORM IN WHICH ABUTMENT AND PROTHESIS ARE INTEGRALLY CONNECTED, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR SAME

A dental implant, and a manufacturing method for the same. The dental implant includes a form in which, in order to increase the strength of the connection between a metallic abutment and a dental prosthesis, the abutment and the prosthesis are integrally connected, wherein the prosthesis and the abutment are integrally connected to each other by means of a forming method.

Processes and devices for dental restorations employ molding tools that isolate individual tooth surfaces onto which dental composite material is to be applied and cured into individual cavities to prevent bonding of adjacent teeth. The processes and tools utilize matrix separators between teeth and a molding tool having matrix guide pockets that receive edges of the matrix separators to define the individual cavities.
