KIT OF PARTS CONTAINING DENTAL MILL BLANK COLOURING SOLUTION
The present invention relates to a kit of parts comprising a dental mill blank comprising a porous zirconia material and a colouring solution for colouring the porous zirconia material. The porous zirconia material comprises Zr oxide calculated as ZrO2: from 80 to 97 wt.-%, Al oxide calculated as Al2O3: from 0 to 0.15 wt.-%, Y oxide calculated as Y2O3: from 1 to 10 wt.-%, Bi oxide calculated as Bi2O3: from 0.01 to 0.2 wt.-%, the porous zirconia material not comprising Fe calculated as Fe2O3 in an amount of more than 0.01 wt.-%, wt.-% with respect to the weight of the porous zirconia material. The colouring solution comprises solvent(s), colouring agent(s) comprising metal ions selected from Tb, Er, Pr, Mn or combinations thereof, the solution not comprising Fe ions in an amount of more than 0.01 wt.-%, the solution not comprising Bi ions in an amount of more than 0.01 wt.-%, wt.-% with respect to the weight of the colouring solution. The invention also relates to a process of producing a dental restoration, the process comprising the steps: providing a dental mill blank comprising a porous zirconia material as described in any of the preceding claims, machining an article out of the porous zirconia material, the article having the shape of a dental restoration with an outer and inner surface, providing a colouring solution as described in any of the preceding claims, applying the colouring solution to at least portions of the surface of the article having the shape of a dental restoration.
Prosthesis
A prosthesis that contains zirconia and supplements a defective portion of a natural bone, and that is changed to a color approximate to that of the natural bone by a heat treatment after a γ-ray sterilization treatment. The color approximate to that of the natural bone has an L* value of 60 to 90, an a* value of −5 to 10, and a b* value of −5 to 10 in the L*a*b* color space. The highest temperature in the heat treatment is 100° C. to 300° C. The prosthesis is a fixture of a dental implant embedded into and bonded to a natural bone, an abutment, an implant crown, and the like.
A DENTAL COLORING STAMP AND A METHOD OF COLORING
A dental coloring stamp has a transfer pad for transferring a dental coloring solution to a precursor of a dental restoration. The transfer pad is at least partially formed of an open-celled elastic sponge and has a free transfer surface. The cross-section of the transfer pad is greater than a circular area of 10 mm in diameter so that a side of a dental restoration precursor can be stamped and thus colored. The invention helps facilitating the coloring of dental restorations.
IMAGE COLOR DATA NORMALIZATION AND COLOR MATCHING SYSTEM FOR TRANSLUCENT MATERIAL
A shade selection program is disclosed that predicts the shade choice with the smallest CIEDE2000 color difference for dental composite resin restorations when given a backing and target shade. By utilizing generated regression models, a database of spectral reflectance information, and principles of Kubelka-Munk layering, a highly accurate shade selection program was designed. Additionally, a blending model for quantification of color adjustment potential was developed. Systems and methods for correlating RGB data from the VITA Linearguide 3D Master and VITA Bleached Guide 3D Master shade guides with their spectroradiometric correlates through a regression model while indicating a methodology for validation of accuracy of digital imaging systems are disclosed.
METHOD OF MAKING A DENTAL RESTORATION
A method of making a dental restoration has the step of providing a precursor of the dental restoration. The dental restoration has at least a first and a second surface portion which are delimited by a physical boundary structure. The method further has the steps of applying a first coloring solution associated with the first surface portion onto the first surface portion, sintering the dental restoration precursor, and removing the physical boundary structure.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A BLANK, BLANK AND A DENTAL RESTORATION
The invention relates to a method for the preparation of a blank of a ceramic material, wherein a first ceramic material and then a second ceramic material of different compositions are filled into a die and wherein the materials are pressed and after pressing are sintered. A layer of the first ceramic material is thereby filled into the die and a first cavity formed in the layer, the second ceramic material is then filled into the first open cavity and the materials pressed together and then heat-treated.
Pre-sintered blank for dental purposes
Pre-sintered blanks based on lithium metasilicate glass ceramic are described which are suitable in particular for the preparation of dental restorations.
DENTAL PROSTHESIS AND MOULDING METHOD
A dental prosthesis is disclosed includes a prosthetic tooth element comprising ceramic and a veneer located on a surface of the prosthetic tooth element, the veneer comprising cured dental composite. The prosthetic tooth element can be fixed to a mount in a patient's mouth using the same dental composite used for the veneer. A method of forming a prosthetic tooth element is disclosed including filling a mould that is formed at least partially from flexible polymeric material with a dental mixture comprising ceramic, and applying pressure to the filled mould to form a prosthetic tooth element comprising ceramic with a roughened surface.
Fluorescent Glass Ceramics And Glasses With Europium Content
The invention relates to glass ceramics and glasses with a europium content, containing the following components:
TABLE-US-00001 Component wt.-% SiO.sub.2 30.0 to 75.0 Al.sub.2O.sub.3 10.0 to 45.0 Europium, calculated as Eu.sub.2O.sub.3 0.05 to 5.0
and which are suitable in particular for the production of dental restorations, the fluorescence properties of which largely correspond to those of natural teeth.
INDIUM-CONTAINING TRANSLUCENCY IMPROVING LIQUID FOR DENTAL ZIRCONIA CALCINED BODY
To provide a liquid for improving translucency for dental zirconia calcined body which may impart high translucency which is similar to an enamel of a natural tooth to a zirconia sintered body and a method for using thereof.
The liquid for improving translucency for dental zirconia calcined body of the present disclosure contains a solvent and an indium compound, wherein a content of the indium compound based on the total amount of the liquid improving translucency for dental zirconia calcined body is within a range of 2.0 wt. % to 20.0 wt. % in terms of indium.
