Single- or multi-unit dental restoration, and method of producing the same
The invention relates to a single- or multi-unit dental restoration, which consists of a support structure and a veneer, which support structure is in particular made from oxide ceramics by means of additive manufacturing, particularly preferably by means of rapid prototyping, wherein the veneer is produced by pressing a ceramic material, such as a glass ceramic or composite material, which is more translucent than the support structure, characterized in that the veneer fills and/or penetrates recesses of the support structure (12) configured as a net or frame structure or as a reinforcement, wherein it is particularly provided that the recesses penetrate through the support structure (12).
Zirconia layered body
There is provided at least any of a layered body which has a change in color tone and in which it is unnecessary to select a colorant and the content of the colorant in consideration of a difference in the sintering behavior between layers, a precursor thereof, or a method for producing these. Provided is a layered body which has a structure, in which two or more layers containing stabilizer-containing zirconia and a colorant are layered, and in which types and contents of the colorants contained in the layers are equal to each other, the layered body including at least: a first layer containing a colorant and zirconia which has a stabilizer content of higher than or equal to 3.3 mol %; and a second layer containing a colorant and zirconia which has a stabilizer content different from that of the zirconia contained in the first layer.

A method for defining at least one boundary surface inside an artificial tooth element, the method comprising the steps of: aligning the tooth element with a coordinate system which preferably relates to anatomically defined directional terms; defining a first boundary curve on the tooth surface; determining a tooth surface located incisally/occlusally with respect to the first boundary curve; and moving this tooth surface inwards in the direction of the surface normal by different amounts in order to produce the at least one boundary surface, in particular the first boundary surface, wherein the different amounts of the movement involve variable design parameters.
