A customized dental device for placement over the natural teeth of a user is disclosed, as well as various methods for forming such a device. The method expands on conventional methods of forming a cast replica and model integrating retaining features into either the cast replica or a temporary model to help the device naturally and seamlessly hold to the teeth of the user in a customized manner. Alternative methods of formation through injection molding are disclosed. In different embodiments, the device may be used as a veneer to improve appearance of the user's natural teeth and/or as a weight control device by governing food intake.

Stabilizer for lower dental appliances
The present invention extends to a dental appliance having a set of rigid flanges conforming to a patient's mandibular bone structure and a stabilizer for securing and resisting movement of the dental appliance once set. The stabilizer reduces movement of a lower denture. The stabilizer extends perpendicularly from a flange of the lower denture and reduces denture movement during chewing. The stabilizer has one surface making contact with the bottom of the tongue and another surface making contact with the Genioglossus muscle when a user is chewing. The stabilizer does not require a dental implant for maintaining lower denture stability.
Preparation guide plate and removable partial denture support model construction method and fabrication method
The present disclosure discloses a method for constructing and fabricating a preparation guide plate and a removable partial denture bracket model. The method includes: simulating implant placement in CBCT data of an oral cavity, and determining an implant placement site and an implant placement direction; in oral scan data, generating a simulated implant and marking a direction of an insertion path for a removable partial denture, the direction of the insertion path being consistent with the implant placement direction; marking a guide plane of an inner side of an adjacent tooth at an inner side of an adjacent tooth of the oral scan data based on the direction of the insertion path; and generating the preparation guide plate model based on an edentulous region, the adjacent tooth, and the guide plane of the inner side of the adjacent tooth in the oral scan data and a region to be removed.
