DENTAL PROSTHESIS
20200268488 · 2020-08-27 ·

A dental prothesis configured to be placed in a gap between a first adjoining tooth and a second adjoining tooth so as to replace a missing tooth. The prothesis includes two partial abutments configured to sit within the gap between the two adjoining teeth. Secured to each partial abutment is a connector which is also secured to one of the adjoining teeth. Each connector is in a substantially C-shape configuration and adapted to fit along the surface of the associated adjoining tooth. The connectors have a plurality of connecting points that are adapted to fit within one of a plurality of retention grooves ground in the adjoining teeth to affix the connectors to the adjacent teeth with little grinding of the adjacent teeth. A crown is adapted to fit over and about the two partial abutments.

DENTAL COMPONENT FOR A DENTAL RESTORATION AND METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING THE DENTAL COMPONENT

The present invention provides a dental component (20; 120) forming the basis for at least a part of a prosthetic dental arch and comprising at least two subcomponents (21, 22; 121, 122) and a connecting device (30; 130) for compensating an offset in position and/or orientation between the subcomponents (21, 22; 121, 122). Each subcomponent (21, 22; 121, 122) includes a mounting portion (25, 26; 125, 126) for mounting the dental component (20; 120) on at least one dental implant or at least one dental implant analogue (11, 12; 111). The connecting device (30; 130) comprises a rotary compensation means (50, 60; 150, 160) that connects the two dental subcomponents (21, 22; 121, 122).

The invention relates to an anchoring assembly for the anchoring of a dental prosthesis. The anchoring assembly includes a plurality of dental implants, each having a threaded portion and an abutment having a threaded hole, a plurality of pins each of which configured to be mounted on one of the abutments and has a through axial cavity, a plurality of blocks, each having a through hole configured to receive a respective pin, and a plurality of telescopic arms. The telescopic arms and the blocks includes coupling means. By rotating the pins about their axes relative to the abutments it is possible to raise or lower the arms relative to the abutments and adjust their inclination. The configuration of the anchoring assembly can be locked by way of suitable glues, thereby allowing removal of the anchoring assembly and integration into a dental prosthesis.

DIRECT DENTAL BRIDGE
20180368955 · 2018-12-27 ·

An impression taker captures an impression of preparation cut in abutment teeth. The impression taker includes; a rigid body supporting a first arm and a second arm. The first arm has a first longitudinal end configured to take an impression of a preparation cut in a first abutment tooth, and the second arm has a second longitudinal end configured to take an impression in a second abutment tooth. In addition, a reinforcement combination supports a dental bridge and an elongate proximal bar supports a dental bridge. The impression taker and the reinforcement bar combination can be used to produce a direct dental bridge.

Reinforced Resin-Retained Bridge

A resin-retained denture bridge having an improved bonding between a false tooth or teeth of the bridge and a retainer wire of the bridge is provided in the present invention, wherein a coupling recess is formed on a lingual side of the false tooth and a protrusion or an omega-shaped bend is formed on the retainer wire. The protrusion or omega-shaped bend is received in the coupling recess of the false tooth after or prior to a resin being filled in the coupling recess, which is then cured to form a secure engagement, so that the false tooth is bonded to the retainer with the end portions of the retainer wire extending laterally from the false tooth.
