A clad welded pipe or tube comprises: a first layer made of base metal; and a second layer placed on one surface of the first layer, and made of first cladding metal that is a material different from the base metal, wherein a pipe or tube circumferential length L1 of weld metal at a pipe or tube inner surface and a pipe or tube circumferential length L2 of the weld metal at a pipe or tube outer surface in a weld are each 0.0010 mm or more and 1.0 mm or less, and the base metal is not exposed at a first cladding metal-side surface of the clad welded pipe or tube in the weld.

The present invention relates to conductive multicomponent multiphase metal alloy. The metal alloy has the following (in atom-%):Ni, in a total amount of 35-70; wherein the remaining 30-65 comprises at least three elements selected from the list consisting of Sn, Nb, Ta, B, Cr, Ce, Fe, La, Nd, Sm, Gd, Ti, Zr, Mn, Hf, Si, P, Al, Y and V in a total amount of at least 30. The metal alloy comprises at least three distinct crystalline phases, at least one phase being an intermetallic phase. The present invention also relates to an electrode material comprising said alloy, to a method for forming a coating on said alloy, and to a method for manufacturing said alloy.

NICKEL-BASED SUPERALLOY WHICH IS EVEN SUITABLE FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURE, METHOD, AND PRODUCT

Nickel-based superalloy suitable for additive manufacture, a method, and a product includes a special selection of the elements silicon, boron, zirconium, and hafnium. The nickel-based superalloy includes at least the following (in wt.%): carbon (C) 0.04%-0.08% chromium (Cr) 9.8%-10.2% cobalt (Co) 10.3%-10.7% molybdenum (Mo) 0.4%-0.6% tungsten (W) 9.3%-9.7% aluminum (Al) 5.2%-5.7% tantalum (Ta) 1.9%-2.1% boron (B) 0.0025%-0.01% zirconium (Zr) 0.0025%-0.01% hafnium (Hf) 0.1%-0.3%, and optionally yttrium (Y) and residual nickel (Ni).

A nickel-cobalt based superalloy composition consisting of by weight (wt.): 33.5 to 54 percent Ni; 19.5 to 36 percent Co; 9 to 12 percent Cr; 3.9 to 5.5 percent Al; 4.5 to 9.5 percent W; up to 5.5 percent Fe; 2 to 3.5 percent Mo; 0.6 to 5 percent Ta; 0.15 to 2.2 percent Ti; up to 1.75 percent Nb; up to 0.1 percent Hf; 0.005 to 0.03 percent C; 0.001 to 0.02 percent B; 0.005 to 0.06 percent Zr; up to 0.3 percent Si; up to 0.6 percent Mn; and the balance being impurities.

COATED TURBOMACHINE PART HAVING A NICKEL-BASED SUBSTRATE COMPRISING HAFNIUM

A turbomachine part includes (i) a nickel-based superalloy substrate including, in mass content, 5.0% to 8.0% cobalt, 6.5% to 10% chromium, 0.5% to 2.5% molybdenum, 5.0% to 9.0% tungsten, 6.0% to 9.0% tantalum, 4.5% to 5.8% aluminum, hafnium in a mass content greater than or equal to 2000 ppm, and optionally including niobium in a mass content less than or equal to 1.5%, and optionally at least one of carbon, zirconium and boron each in a mass content less than or equal to 100 ppm, the remainder being composed of nickel and unavoidable impurities; and (ii) a β-structured nickel aluminide coating covering the substrate.
