DENTAL INTRAORAL DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A dental intraoral device that is worn within an oral cavity, the dental intraoral device comprising a resin base portion that follows a shape of the oral cavity. At least a part of the base portion is formed into a mesh shape. The part of the base portion is preferably formed by approximately regularly arranging unit regions having holes.
ORAL APPLIANCE FOR TREATING INFLAMED TISSUE OF THE ORAL CAVITY USING THE TOP-DOWN METHOD
An oral appliance for delivering a medicament to an inflamed tissue inside an oral cavity is provided. The oral appliance has an interior surface configured to contour at least a portion of teeth and/or soft tissue areas inside the oral cavity, the interior surface of the oral appliance having a medicament disposed at a discrete region of the interior surface of the oral appliance, the medicament configured to contact a top portion of the inflamed tissue inside the oral cavity when the oral appliance is worn to cause delivery of the medicament to at least the top portion of the inflamed tissue. A method of making the oral appliance and a method of treating an inflamed tissue inside an oral cavity using the oral appliance is also provided.
DENTAL INTRAORAL DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
A dental intraoral device that is worn within an oral cavity, the dental intraoral device comprising a resin tooth portion. At least a part of the tooth portion is formed into a mesh shape. The part of the tooth portion is preferably formed by approximately regularly arranging unit regions having holes.
Oral Therapy Apparatus
An oral therapy apparatus is disclosed and configured for being positionable within a mouth of a user having orthodontic braces. In at least one embodiment, the apparatus provides a flexible, substantially cylindrical, elongated body sized and configured for being positioned within the user's mouth, substantially between gums of the user and an inner surface of the user's mouth. The body has a diameter sized for creating a space between the inner surface of the user's mouth and the braces, thereby preventing the inner surface of the user's mouth from coming into contact with the braces.
Oral treatment device
An oral treatment device that emits light onto surfaces of a user's teeth. In one aspect, the oral treatment device includes an intraoral mouthpiece. The mouthpiece comprises a lamp support structure comprising a lamp support surface and is formed of a first material. A flexible lamp is mounted to the lamp support surface so that a light emitting surface of the flexible lamp assumes a concave curvature, thereby forming a lamp assembly. A guard component is overmolded to the lamp assembly. In one embodiment, the oral treatment device may be a teeth whitening device.
Method for treating denture stomatitis using denture base material containing nanodiamonds
A curable composite material containing nanodiamonds, denture bases and other dental prosthetics made from the composite material and methods for treating dental stomatitis using these prosthetics.
Edentulous specific support and aesthetic restorative appliance
An edentulous mouth insert appliance for mounting upon the edentulous gum of a patient, comprises a u-shaped frame formed of a rigid flexible material, with a portion to embrace the gum and a portion extending beyond the gum with an exposed surface to replicate a bite aligned with the corresponding occlusal plane. The frame has a base supporting a pair of inner and outer side walls spaced apart by the base a distance allowing the frame to encircle and cover the edentulous gum with a space between inner surfaces of the frame and the gum. A fill within the frame fills the space between the frame and the gum upon which the appliance is fitted, providing a void-free seal between the apparatus and the gum.
ORAL ASSEMBLY
An oral assembly (100) for use within a mouth of a user. The oral assembly (100) includes an oral device (104) and a collection device (224). The oral device (104) is configured to be usable within the mouth of the user to provide oral health care treatment. The collection device (224) is coupled to the oral device (104). The collection device (224) is movable between (i) a collection mode wherein the collection device (224) collects saliva from the mouth of the user, and (ii) an expulsion mode wherein the collection device (224) expels a liquid into the mouth of the user. A collection tube (226) can be coupled to the collection device (224). The collection tube (226) can be configured to receive saliva that is collected by the collection device (224) from the mouth of the user.
LASER-ASSISTED ORAL SURGERY SYSTEM
Periodontal disorders such as disorders associated with a dental implant are treated. An average power for a laser is selected via a user interface on a tablet, along with a set of permissible laser parameters provided in response to the selected average power.
