DENTAL CORD USING NANOFIBER CONJUGATE YARN, AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREFOR
Provided is a dental cord using a nanofiber multiple yarn having a large specific surface area and a large number of three-dimensional pores, thereby effectively impregnating a drug such as a hemostatic agent, and a method of manufacturing the dental cord. The dental cord includes: a nanofiber multiple yarn which is obtained by plying and twisting at least two nanofiber tape yarns and which is impregnated with a drug, wherein the at least two nanofiber tape yarns are integrated by nanofibers made of fiber moldability polymer materials and having an average diameter of less than 1 μm, to thus be formed of a nanofiber web having three-dimensional micropores.
Integrated support device for providing temporary primary stability to dental implants and prosthesis, and related methods
Integrated support devices for providing temporary primary stability to a dental prosthesis implant, each individually designed and manufactured for a specific pre-identify patient are also provided. An integrated support device can include a prosthesis interface member configured to connect to an abutment or reduced sized portion of a dental prosthesis/implant. The integrated support device also includes one or more bonding wings for connecting to the adjacent healthy teeth.
Interproximal drug delivery device
This present invention provides a delivery device that could be used to delivery discreet small volume of expensive biotechnology treatments to specific areas of the oral cavity, or other tissues. The present invention also provides a method of using the device disclosed herein to deliver biotechnology treatments and/or therapeutic agents to specific areas of the oral cavity, or other tissues. In one embodiment, the treatments and/or therapeutic agents are delivered to the interproximal area between and around the teeth.
METHOD FOR ENHANCED REMINERALIZATION OF TEETH
A method for the treatment of teeth which comprises enhancing transport of substances through the tooth enamel by generating a gaseous plasma in proximity to the tooth.
Device to Prevent or Reduce Early Childhood Caries
A device for rinsing a child's mouth and teeth comprising a pliable vessel having a front end, a back end, and side walls defining a hollow interior space inside the vessel. The side walls contain a first depression near the front end and a second depression opposite the first notch. The first depression contains at least one front opening in fluid communication with the interior space, angled to face the front surface of the top teeth, and at least one back opening positioned closer to the front end from the front opening, in fluid communication with the interior space, angled to face the back surface of the top teeth. A removable cap to removably close the vessel mounted at the back end. When the vessel is filled with water and the front end is inserted into a child's mouth so that the first depression receives the portion of the top teeth and the child's second depression receives the portion of the child's bottom teeth, manually squeezing the vessel pushes water through the front opening and the back opening to rinse the portion of the top teeth and the mouth without directly rinsing the bottom teeth.
LIGHT-GUIDING MOUTHGUARD ASSEMBLY
A light-guiding mouthguard assembly has a light-transmittable mouthguard and two light-guiding strips. The light-transmittable mouthguard has a teeth-containing channel formed along a curve as a teeth arch. The two light-guiding strips are located on opposite sides of the teeth-containing channel respectively. Each one of the two light-guiding strips is mounted through two opposite terminals of the light-transmittable mouthguard along the teeth-containing channel. An exterior surface of each one of the two light-guiding strips is light-transmittable.
DENTAL TREATMENT TRAY DEVICE
A dental treatment tray device comprising a horseshoe shaped insert with peripheral front and rear walls 16 defining a trough shaped device 12 in cross section with an Intermediate base layer. The front and rear walls 14 and 15 and the base layer are lined by means of gauze impregnated with dental treatment material 18.
Pressurized Injectable Mouthpiece
An pressurized injectable mouthpiece for athletes. The invention is configured to be pressurized and injected to suit users that uses this type of equipment. The pressurized injectable is inserted into the users mouth pressure is applied by biting down on the unit the inside is then coated with fluid/supplements depending on the amount of pressure applied. The invention includes a open and closeable tab at the front of the housing of the unit. Suction vents/air pockets are also available.
Material deposition device and method of use
A material deposition device includes a solution supply component, a gas supply component, and a co-axial discharge mechanism. The co-axial discharge mechanism includes a solution discharge mechanism, and a gas discharge mechanism co-axial with the solution discharge mechanism. The material deposition device further includes an alignment component that aligns the solution discharge mechanism in a center of the gas discharge mechanism; and an orifice plate with a number of turbulence inducing structures that induce turbulence in gas exiting the gas discharge mechanism.
Devices for the administration of pharmaceutical suspensions
The invention features a pharmaceutical suspension containing drug particles, a drug delivery device anchored in the mouth for continuously administering the pharmaceutical suspension, and methods of their use.
