Urethral stent and bladder control assembly comprising such a urethral stent

A urethral stent for arrangement in the urethra of a patient is disclosed. The ethereal stent includes a tubular body having first and second openings, retention elements connected to the tubular body at the first opening and to the tubular body at a distance from the first retention element, and a valve. The valve includes a valve seat formed by the first opening and a valve element that is pivotably connected to the tubular body and/or the valve seat. The valve is pivotable between a closed position and an open position to close and open the lumen, respectively. The valve is at least partly made of a ferromagnetic material and has an area which exceeds the area of the first opening. A bladder control assembly comprising the urethral stent is also disclosed.

Implant fixation devices and methods of using the same

According to an aspect, a medical device includes an elongate member, a first arm extending from the elongate member, a second arm extending from the elongate member, the second arm being configured to move with respect to the first arm, and a needle coupled to the elongate member, the needle being configured to move with respect to the elongate member.

An intra-pelvic fundus vesicae support disposed at the outer fundus vesicae position and fixing the front end to the pelvic pecten pubis position to lift internal organs. An injection channel is provided inside an intra-pelvic fundus vesicae support structure, and a screw hole is formed at an input hole, so that the support can be connected to an in-vitro device. According to the intra-pelvic fundus vesicae support, a tomoscan three-dimensional modeling technology is used to generate a model file which completely conforms to physiological shapes of the pelvic pecten pubis and the outer fundus vesicae and the spatial form of the abdominal cavity of a typical person, and the intra-pelvic fundus vesicae support of a frame structure and medical material quality is obtained using 3-D printing technologies. Before a surgery is conducted, a virtual reality technology is used to simulate and verify a surgical safety scheme.

DEVICE TO PREVENT URINARY LEAKAGE

A device to prevent urinary leakage intended to be implanted in a patient includes a compressor to compress the patient's urethra, an electronic controller to actuate the compressor, and a measurer to measure the patient's activity. The measurer is coupled with the controller and the controller functions according to a predictive model of urinary leakage based on patient activity, so as to anticipate a possible urinary leak in relation to the measured activity of the patient.
