The invention relates to a system for the ionisation of water by electrolysis, for swimming pools, operating by means of mechanical kinetic energy of the water driven from the filtration system of a swimming pool. The invention relates to a system for the ionisation of water of swimming pools or tanks by electrolysis. Said pools or tanks must be provided with a water circulation system. The system can be easily installed in all types of swimming pool without affecting the original character thereof, and uses an autonomous and safe source of energy, the electric power being generated by the kinetic energy accumulated in the water, produced by the driving system for the filtration of the swimming pool water. This energy is used both for the generation of electricity used in the production of ions by electrolysis, and as a source for indicating operation. Kinetic energy is also used as a source of energy for the element for actuating the electrode cleaner.

The invention relates to a method for treating water by electrolysis, comprising the following operations: producing two electrolytic dipoles (D1 and D2), connecting each of the dipoles (D1 and D2) to a source of electrical energy, and remarkable in that it further comprises the following operations: arranging the two dipoles inside the same enclosure (330) wherein the water to be treated circulates, inverting one of the dipoles so as to position facing the water flow to be treated the cathode of the second dipole extending from the anode of the first dipole and the anode of the second dipole extending from the cathode of the first dipole, moving the two dipoles (D1, D2) closer together to a sufficiently reduced distance to create therebetween electrical and chemical interactions and thereby form an at least quadripolar electrolysis system, channeling the gases resulting from the electrolysis implemented via a first dipole (D1) to the second dipole (D2).

The invention also relates to a device for implementing the method.

Applications: water treatment.

Biofilm Electrochemical Reactor for Simultaneously Removing Nitrate Nitrogen and Trace Organic Matters in Water

The application belongs to the technical field of water treatment, and relates to a biofilm electrochemical reactor for simultaneously removing nitrate nitrogen and trace organic matters in water. According to the principles of electrochemical reaction and products completely different under different cathode and anode material conditions, the reactor is divided into three functional regions, wherein first, an electrochemical reaction of producing hydrogen at a cathode and decomposing carbon at an anode is realized in a first functional region so as to provide a condition for reduction of nitrate nitrogen by a hydrogen autotrophic denitrifying bacteria of a particle electrode layer in a second functional region, after products generated by means of the electrochemical reaction and a biochemical reaction in the previous two functional regions enter a third functional region, pollutants such as trace organic components and residual ammonia nitrogen in water are oxidized and decomposed by using anodic oxidation function.
