SYSTEMS FOR REMOTELY CONTROLLING ASPIRATION PATTERNS
An aspiration system includes a pump and a control system in communication with the pump. The control system includes a microcontroller, an antenna configured to receive a signal, and a pump control board in communication with the microcontroller. The antenna is in communication with the microcontroller. Upon receiving the signal, the pump control board operates the pump to create negative pressure according to the signal.
Migration resistant embolic filter
An embolic filter is disclosed and can include a head. A plurality of bent legs can extend from the head. Each bent leg can be configured to engage an inner wall of a vein and prevent the embolic filter from migrating in a cranial direction. A plurality of straight legs can also extend from the head. Each straight leg can be configured to prevent the embolic filter from migrating in a caudal direction.
Thrombectomy devices and treatment of acute ischemic stroke with thrombus engagement
Components and corresponding systems are described for providing removal of a clot or fragment thereof to address an acute ischemic stroke condition. In particular, a filter design is presented that provides metal elements below a bundle of polymer fibers to provide more mechanical strength while cushioning the vessel wall from direct contact with the metal elements. Designs of stent retrievers are presented with polymer covers or mounted on the exterior of a microcatheter. Corresponding systems are described that can use various combinations of the components, generally in combination with an aspiration catheter. Corresponding procedures are described that can effectively use the various devices and systems.
Removal device and removal system
A removal device and a removal system are configured to effectively remove an object in a body lumen while suppressing damage to another device. The removal device includes an elongated shaft part, and a cutting part fixed to a distal portion of the shaft part. The proximal portion of the cutting part includes a ring-shaped cutting blade, and a surface of the cutting part on which the cutting blade is positioned is inclined relative to center axis of the shaft part at an angle greater than 0 degrees and less than 90 degrees.
Retrieval apparatus and methods for use
An apparatus and method for capturing material within a body lumen are disclosed. The apparatus includes a core wire extending from a proximal end to a distal tip, an actuator member defining a lumen for receiving at least a portion of the core wire, and a distal basket having a distal enclosed end fixed relative to the core wire and one or more elements extending from a proximal open end to a collar slidable on the core wire. The collar is slidable on the core wire within an interior of the distal basket such that, when the collar contacts the actuator member, the collar applies an inward force to direct the proximal open end of the distal basket radially inwardly.

A catheter for intraluminal lithotripsy including an outer wall, at least one balloon extending from the outer wall, the balloon having a first portion, a second portion proximal of the first portion and an intermediate portion between the first and second portions such that a transverse dimension of the intermediate portion is less than a transverse dimension of the first and second portions. The catheter includes a first lumen, at least one energy emitter mounted on the balloon for emitting energy to break down or soften calcium and a connector connecting the at least one energy emitter to an external energy source, the connector extending through the catheter.

DEVICE FOR RESTRICTING BLOOD FLOW TO ANEURYSMS
There is provided herein a non-occlusive blood restricting device for treating a vascular malformation, the blood restricting device consisting of a wire comprising a first section configured to be coiled into a first coil when deployed within the vascular malformation; wherein the first coil comprises a spiral or sequence of loops, the spiral or sequence of loops having a gradually decreasing diameter; and wherein the first coil is configured to line a neck and/or a wall of the vascular malformation so as to at least partially cover an orifice thereof, and a second section configured to be deployed within a blood vessel, adjacent the vascular malformation; wherein the second section is configured to form a second coil, circumferentially lining a wall of the blood vessel.
