An assembly for mounting a prosthetic nail for a human or animal digit. The assembly includes at least one transdermal anchor with an interior portion and an exterior portion. An ingrown fingernail/toenail correction device using a shape memory alloy, includes a first fixing part configured to be fixed to an ingrown fingernail/toenail, a second fixing part configured to be fixed to the ingrown fingernail/toenail and spaced apart from the first fixing part at a predetermined distance, and a correction part inserted into the first fixing part and the second fixing part and made of a shape memory alloy so that when the correction part reaches a preset temperature, a shape of the correction part returns to a preset shape to provide a corrective force to the first fixing part and the second fixing part.
