A health care device includes a health care body for positioning a body part of a user, so as to maintain a first specific positional relationship with the body part, wherein the body part has an acupoint; an acupoint work piece for performing a health care work onto the use through the acupoint; and a work piece holder having a first end connected to the health care body and a second end for fixing the acupoint work piece, so that under the first specific positional relationship, the acupoint work piece performs the health care work under the condition that the acupoint work piece has a second specific positional relationship with the acupoint. A health care body, method and system are also provided.

Systems and methods for maintaining patient position

Some systems, devices and methods detailed herein provide adjustable restraint device maintaining a selected position of a person relative to a support structure, for example, to maintain a safe and customizable patient position during a surgical procedure or during medical transport. For example, in particular embodiments, the adjustable restraint devices can be releasably lockable at a customized position along the surgical table and can be conveniently manipulated to a curved or other customized configuration (e.g., to engage with a patient's limb) before being releasably locked into that particular customized configuration.

Positioning Attachment for a Patient

A method includes positioning a patient on a surgical support structure having a fixture. The method includes attaching, to a portion of a body of the patient, a first adhesive layer on a widened pad end of a surgical restraint device. The method includes extending an elongate strap member of the surgical restraint device in a direction in which the portion of the body of the patient is to be moved relative to a remaining portion of the body using tension in the elongate strap member. The method includes attaching an attachment end of the elongate strap member to the fixture of the surgical patient support structure to maintain the moved portion of the body in tension, exposing a surgical site on the body.

INFANT STABILIZER

The invention relates to an infant positioning device for stabilizing and maintaining an infant in a fixed position for a lumbar puncture procedure. The device consists of a frame stand with openings for the infant's face and abdomen to support the infant in the proper position for the procedure and allow for unimpeded ventilation, a component of the frame to secure and stabilize the infant within the frame stand to prevent movement during the procedure, and an attachment stand to the frame that allows the frame to be free-standing. Vertically adjustable shoulder guards, tension-adjustable back strap, and tension adjustable head strap are provided for a custom fit.
