Robotic radial arm board for using in cardiac procedures
10709597 · 2020-07-14 ·

Embodiments of the present invention include a radial arm board for use during a cardiac procedure with an upper arm board and a lower arm board. The radial arm board includes one or more motors to control the position of the arm with a control panel. The components of the radial arm board can be moved laterally, raised, and lowered, thus allowing multiple degrees of freedom for the device. The radial arm allows comfort for the patient, accessibility of the arm to the doctor, and eliminates the need for manual manipulation of the radial arm board.

QUICKLY ADJUSTABLE COMPACT SPINDLE TRACTION MECHANISM WITH SELF-LOCKING FOR USE IN SURGICAL INVERVENTIONS

A self-locking spindle traction mechanism for use in surgical procedures has a longitudinal axis (L). The mechanism may include an operating end, a connecting end for connecting a surgical accessory, and a threaded spindle drive. The spindle drive may include a spindle having an external thread, and a spindle nut that is seated on the spindle and has an internal thread. The mechanism may include a slide that is movable along the longitudinal axis by a relative rotation between the spindle and the spindle nut, a drive device that is situated on the operating end for rotationally driving the threaded spindle drive, and a gear. The gear may be connected between the drive device and the threaded spindle drive, so that the gear is configured for stepping up the speed of a rotational movement of the drive device and delivering it to the threaded spindle drive.

Removable Ligature Resistant Restraint Ring Receptacle

The removable restraint ring receptacle comprises a base for attachment to a furniture piece. The base adapted to receive a ligature resistant fastener. A restraint ring engaged by the fastener. The ligature resistant fastener may be a ball pin lock having a conical or rounded head. The head bearing against the restraint ring. The ligature resistant fastener further comprising a collar adapted to extend from the head to the base. The collar comprising a tapered outside surface adapted to span the gap between the head and the base when the ring is removed thereby providing a tapered protrusion to prevent the attachment of a ligature or snagging of clothes.

Sterile limb connectors and methods

A sterile hand connection device is used to attach a patient's arm to a cable adaptor of a surgical arm positioning apparatus. The cable adaptor is connected to two cable ends of a cable of the surgical arm positioning apparatus. The hand connection includes a clip, a buckle, and a wrap that is mounted to the clip. The buckle is attached to the cable adaptor and the clip snaps onto the buckle. The hand wrap is mounted to the clip and wraps around a patient's hand, wrist, and forearm.

Exercise Device

An exercise device. The exercise device includes an elongated member with a pair of grooves disposed at opposing ends. A pair of tension screws are utilized to slidably secure a pair of clamps to opposing ends of the elongated member. The pair of clamps slidably adjust along the length of the elongated member by traveling along the grooves. The clamps secure the elongated member to an opening, such as a door frame. The elongated member further includes a pair of recessed portions. The recessed portions are configured to curve around a soleus portion of a user's legs. A pair of straps affixed to opposing ends of each recessed portion removably secure about a front of the user's legs. In one embodiment, the elongated member is hingedly divided into two parts, wherein each part includes a clamp slidably secured thereto and a recessed portion, thereby providing a storage configuration.

WRIST TOWER
20200163791 · 2020-05-28 ·

A wrist tower attachment for an arm stabilizer device is configured for modular attachment on a support arm secured in a rail clamp mounted on a rail of an operating table. The wrist tower attachment includes a wrist tower base and a wrist tower post protruding upwardly from the wrist tower base. The support arm includes a stabilizer bar having a distal bar end, and the wrist tower attachment is secured onto the distal bar end. In some embodiments, the wrist tower attachment includes a female axial socket shaped to receive the male distal bar end. A traction bar is positioned on the wrist tower post and protrudes radially from the wrist tower post. A tension gauge is disposed on the traction bar in some embodiments.

Portable medical armrest
10602850 · 2020-03-31 ·

A portable medical apparatus for supporting a patient's arm having a top surface, a bottom surface, a peripheral surface, and an outer layer. The top surface has a front edge and a back edge opposite the front edge. The top surface defines a concave depression that extends into the top surface and slopes downward from the back edge to the front edge. The bottom surface is opposite the top surface. The peripheral surface connects the top surface to the bottom surface. The outer layer is connected to a portion of the peripheral surface and defines a pocket between the outer layer and the portion of the peripheral surface. The pocket has an opening adjacent to the top surface.

ANTERIOR BOOT FOR HIP DISTRACTION
