A cationic copolymer comprises the divalent monomer units: wherein: each Ar.sup.1 independently represents phenylene; each L independently represents a direct bond or wherein each R.sup.1 independently represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and each R.sup.2 independently represents an alkylene group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and each Z.sup.− represents a non-interfering anion; each Ar.sup.2 independently represents an optionally substituted divalent aryl ring, with the proviso that if L represents a direct bond, then Ar.sup.2 represents an optionally substituted cationic divalent aryl ring accompanied by Z; each R.sup.3 independently represents H or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and each D independently represents a direct bond or Ar.sup.2, wherein adjacent D and L are not both direct bonds, and wherein if L is a direct bond, then D is Ar.sup.2. The cationic copolymer can be free-radially cured and used in a membrane.

A cationic copolymer comprises the divalent monomer units: wherein: each Ar.sup.1 independently represents phenylene; each L independently represents a direct bond or wherein each R.sup.1 independently represents an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and each R.sup.2 independently represents an alkylene group having from 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and each Z.sup.− represents a non-interfering anion; each Ar.sup.2 independently represents an optionally substituted divalent aryl ring, with the proviso that if L represents a direct bond, then Ar.sup.2 represents an optionally substituted cationic divalent aryl ring accompanied by Z; each R.sup.3 independently represents H or an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms; and each D independently represents a direct bond or Ar.sup.2, wherein adjacent D and L are not both direct bonds, and wherein if L is a direct bond, then D is Ar.sup.2. The cationic copolymer can be free-radially cured and used in a membrane.
CURABLE ADHESIVE BASED ON SILANE FUNCTIONALIZED RESIN
Disclosed are curable adhesive compositions comprising hydroxyl functional polymers and silane functionalized resins. Such adhesive compositions are capable of providing unexpected properties for various uses and end products. Multi-copolymer, methods for producing the same and using thereof in wastewater treatment
A multi-copolymer, methods for producing the same and using thereof in wastewater treatment application are provided. The method includes pre-mixing by mass 10-30 parts by mass of alkenyl succinic anhydrides, 10-30 parts of vinylbenzyltrimethylammonium chloride, and 10-30 parts of dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate with water to form a first mixture; reacting the first mixture comprising passing thereof through inert gases to provide reflux protection, and adding by mass 10-30 parts of vinyl acetate and 10-30 parts of acrylamide to form a second mixture, followed by heating the second mixture and adding an initiator therein to initiate the reaction. The present invention is simple, at low cost, safe, non-toxic, environmentally friendly, easy to operate, with a better water purification efficiency than that of conventional macromolecule flocculants, multi-functional, good product stability, strong adsorption bridging ability, less dosage requirement for the water treatment agent, and results in a sturdy sludge cake and easily separated flocs.
