POLYOL RESIN BLEND FOR USE IN PRODUCING STABLE POLYOL COMPONENTS
The present disclosure relates to a polyol resin blend for use in a polyurethane formulation. The polyol resin blend generally includes (a) an amine having a pKa value between about 6 and about 8.5 and a protonated amine obtained by contacting a methylamino-containing tertiary amine or primary etheramine having a pKa value greater than about 9 and an acid compound, (b) a polyol, and (c) a halogenated olefin. The present disclosure also provides polyurethane formulations containing the polyol resin blend and methods of making polyurethane foam from such polyurethane formulations.
FOAMABLE POLYURETHANE RESIN COMPOSITION AND FOAMED POLYURETHANE ELASTOMER
A foamable polyurethane resin composition includes a polyisocyanate material, a polyol material, water, and a catalyst. The polyisocyanate material contains 1,4-H.sub.6XDI; the polyol material contains crystalline PTMEG and noncrystalline PTMEG and/or PPG; the total amount of the crystalline PTMEG, the noncrystalline PTMEG, and PPG is 90% by mass or more with respect to the total amount of the polyol material; and a ratio of the crystalline PTMEG is 60% by mass or more and 90% by mass or less with respect to the total amount of the crystalline PTMEG, the noncrystalline PTMEG, and PPG.
Methods for reducing aldehyde emissions in polyurethane foams
Polyurethane foams are made by curing a reaction mixture that contains an aromatic polyisocyanate, at least one isocyanate-reactive material having an average functionality of at least 2 and an equivalent weight of at least 200 per isocyanate-reactive group, at least one blowing agent, at least one surfactant and at least one catalyst, a polyethyleneamine mixture having a number average molecular weight of 175 to 450 and an alkali metal, phosphonium or ammonium sulfite. Foams so produced emit low levels of formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, acrolein and propionaldehyde.

An electroviscous fluid of the present invention includes a fluid and polyurethane particles containing metal ions. The polyurethane particles have a phase separation structure of a hard segment and a soft segment, and contain an additive increasing a urethane bond forming the hard segment.
Polyurethane foam
Provided is a polyurethane foam having excellent heat resistance and the like. The polyurethane foam is obtained from a material that contains a polyol and a polyisocyanate, in which the polyol contains a polyester polyol, the polyisocyanate contains a diphenylmethane diisocyanate-based isocyanate, it is preferable that the polyester polyol has one or more side chains composed of an alkyl group, and the polyurethane foam may be used as a soundproof material for vehicles.

Polymer expanding material used in infiltration or seepage watery environment and preparation method thereof
The present invention relates to a polymer expanding material in infiltration or seepage multi-water environment and a preparation method thereof, belonging to a technical field of polymer expanding foam materials. The polymer expanding material includes the following parts of materials by weight: 20-30 parts of rosin polyester polyol, 20-50 parts of isocyanate, 20-40 parts of PhireGuard® MB-512, 5-10 parts of HFO-1233zd, 1-2 parts of surfactant, 0.01-1 part of catalyst, and 0.01 parts of benzoyl chloride. The present invention has high sand fixing body strength, fast curing speed, good elastoplasticity, good pouring property and permeability, and good expanding property, which is suitable for infiltration or seepage multi-water environment, especially for dam infiltration, piping, and other problems during construction and subsequent operation of water conservancy projects.
IMPACT RESISTANT GARMENT
An impact resistant textile-supported garment, or component thereof, comprises a fabric layer, and (i) at least five non-interconnected impact resistant polyurethane segments upon an outer surface of the fabric layer, wherein at least two of the non-interconnected impact resistant polyurethane segments has a depth of at least 3 mm, preferably at least 4 mm, and wherein at least five of the plurality of non-interconnected segments have dimensions smaller than 1.75 cm × 1 cm × 1 cm; or (ii) at least one non-interconnected impact resistant polyurethane segment, wherein the at least one segment has a depth of at least 3 mm at its deepest part, and wherein the at least one segment is a hollow segment comprising one or more regions defined by an outer polyurethane perimeter, surrounding a region of fabric that is not covered by polyurethane.
