INJECTION MOLDING PROCESS USING 1K POLYURETHANE
A method for producing a molded article by injection molding may include using a heat-curable 1K polyurethane (PU) composition, as well as the molded articles obtained using said method.
Methods for cross-linking thermoplastic polyurethane covers for golf balls
Golf balls having covers made of thermoplastic polyurethane compositions are provided. Multi-piece golf balls can be made. The outer cover layer is formed from a composition comprising a thermoplastic polyurethane, a multi-functional hydroxyl compound, and a multi-functional compound selected from multi-functional amines and imines, and multi-functional isocyanates, and mixtures of two or more thereof. The cover composition can further include catalysts, ultraviolet (UV)-light stabilizers, and other additives.
MEDICAL IMPLANT COMPONENT COMPRISING A COMPOSITE BIOTEXTILE AND METHOD OF MAKING
Disclosed herein is a medical implant component comprising a composite biotextile, which biotextile comprises i) a polyolefin fibrous construct comprising at least one strand with titer of 2-250 dtex, tensile strength of at least 10 cN/dtex and comprising high molar mass polyolefin fibers and ii) a coating comprising a biocompatible and biostable polyurethane elastomer comprising a polysiloxane segment and/or having one or more hydrophobic endgroups, wherein the polyurethane coating is present on at least part of the surface of the biotextile and in an amount of 2.5-90 mass % based on composite biotextile. Such composite biotextile, like a partly coated woven fabric, shows an advantageous combination of good biocompatibility, especially hemocompatibility, high strength and pliability, and laser cuttability; allowing to make pieces of fabric having well-defined regular edges that have high suture retention strength. The invention also provides a method of making said composite biotextile. Further embodiments concern the use of such biotextile in or as medical implant component for an implantable medical device and the use of such medical implant component in making an implantable medical device; such as in orthopedic applications and cardiovascular implants. Other embodiments include such medical devices or implants comprising said medical implant component.
Anti-corrosion coating composition
Provided is a humic acid-based coating suspension comprising humic acid, particles of an anti-corrosive pigment or sacrificial metal, and a binder resin dissolved or dispersed in a liquid medium, wherein the humic acid has a weight fraction from 0.1% to 50% based on the total coating suspension weight excluding the liquid medium. Also provided is an object or structure coated at least in part with such a coating.

AQUEOUS POLYURETHANE FUNCTIONAL MASK SUBSTRATE AND APPLICATION THEREOF
Disclosed by the present invention are an aqueous polyurethane functional mask substrate and an application thereof. Two kinds of water-based polyurethane dispersions are used as the main components of the mask substrate. The transdermal penetration and absorption of functional ingredients such as whitening, moisturizing and anti-aging ingredients in facial mask products are promoted by means of the special cross-linked structures of polyurethane films. During use, a mask is evenly applied to the face; and after the mask dries, the entire mask may be removed directly or removed after being moistened using water. The mask substrate according to the present invention is also applicable to body masks such as a hand mask, a neck mask and a back mask.
Methods for reactive three-dimensional printing by inkjet printing
Methods of printing a three-dimensional object using co-reactive components are disclosed. Thermosetting compositions for three-dimensional printing are also disclosed.
UREA RESIN COMPOSITION AND POLYUREA FOAM
A urea resin composition capable of providing a polyurea foam exhibiting excellent flame retardancy and shape retention during combustion, capable of suppressing deterioration over time in a wet-heat environment, exhibiting excellent adhesion to an adherend during coating, being hardly cracked even if flame contact occurs, and hardly allowing carbonization to proceed to a deep portion of the foam. A urea resin composition comprising a polyisocyanate compound (A), a polyamine compound (B), a trimerization catalyst, a foaming agent, a foam stabilizer, and a flame retardant.
Modified formula for hydrophilic foam
The present invention provides a modified formula to make a hydrophilic foam. In some embodiments this modified formula adds a filler which causes the foam to become less absorptive, which has the benefit of making available to the skin more makeup or other products, while also providing a superior esthetic application of makeup on the skin. In other embodiments the modified formula makes the hydrophilic foam easier to clean and reduces the staining propensity of the foam. In other embodiments the modified formula uses an additive to the properties or usability of the foam in some way. Providing the filler and additive can be done in combination or separately depending on the desired benefits or properties of the foam. In some embodiments the foam is fashioned into a shape suitable for makeup application.
CATALYST COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a composition comprising at least one tertiary amino compound (A), and at least one copper(II)-compound (B), a process for the manufacture of said composition, the use of said composition as a catalyst, in particular, as catalyst for the reaction of at least one isocyanate compound with at least one isocyanate-reactive compound, in particular for the manufacture of polyisocyanate polyaddition products, such as polyurethanes, in particular, polyurethane foams.
