A SYSTEM FOR ANAL OR STOMAL IRRIGATION AND A METHOD FOR CALIBRATING SUCH A SYSTEM
A system for anal and/or stomal irrigation comprises a reservoir (102) for an irrigating liquid, a catheter (100) comprising a catheter tip for insertion into the rectum or stoma of a user and for expelling of the irrigating liquid from the catheter tip, and a tubing system (121) providing a conduit for the irrigating liquid between the reservoir and the catheter tip. A pump (101) is provided to pump the irrigating liquid from the reservoir to the catheter tip, and a control system (103) controls a flow condition, such as the amount of liquid expelled at the catheter tip. A sensor (153) determines a measure of pressure in at least one first predetermined position in the tubing system and/or the catheter during operation of the pump, on the basis of which the flow condition is estimated. The control system is configured to control the pumping operation of the pump in response to the measure of pressure.
A System for Anal or Stomal Irrigation, and a Method for Predicting a Temperature of an Irrigation Liquid in a Reservoir of such System
A system for anal or stomal irrigation comprises a reservoir (102) for an irrigating liquid; a catheter (100) comprising a catheter tip for insertion into the rectum or stoma, a thermo sensor (128) connected to the reservoir for obtaining a measure of a temperature within the reservoir, a tubing system and/or the catheter. A control system (103) operatively connected with the thermo sensor is configured to determine a temperature within the reservoir. A method for predicting a temperature in a reservoir for irrigation liquid is also provided.
AUXILIARY APPARATUS FOR FECAL BYPASS
Disclosed is an auxiliary apparatus for fecal bypass for bypassing and discharging feces in the intestines.
Since supporting portions are connected to a single air flow tube to simultaneously expand when air is injected, and the size of the supporting portions is limited, the auxiliary apparatus for fecal bypass of the present invention does not damage the inner wall and outer wall (mucous membrane and serous membrane) of the intestines.
Also, the present invention comprises a liquid moving tube allowing a therapeutic liquid being refluxed quickly and automatically when the pressure inside the intestines increases, thereby preventing abdominal pain of a patient.

Disclosed is an auxiliary apparatus for fecal bypass for bypassing and discharging feces in the intestines.

Enterostomy drainage methods and devices
The present disclosure provides tubes of the draining of liquid from enterostomies. In accordance with aspects and embodiments, an enterostomy tube is provided for draining liquid stool from the gastrointestinal tract, the enterostomy tube having a flared, internal end with scalloped edges and openings around the circumference to enhance collection and an ovular balloon to better fit within the intestinal tract.

FECAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Fecal management methods and apparatuses (e.g., devices, systems, etc.) are described herein. The fecal management apparatuses may apply one or more fecal removal cycles of suction and irrigation (and in some examples air) to actively remove fecal material. The apparatus may control the timing of delivery of the fecal removal cycles as well as the parameters of the applied suction, irrigation and/or air within and between fecal removal cycles.
URINARY CATHETER IRRIGATION DEVICE AND METHOD OF IRRIGATING A URINARY CATHETER
Disclosed are a device and a method for irrigating a urinary catheter connected to a drainage bag. The device is configured to be selectively operated in any one of a drainage state, an irrigation state, and a disposal state without requiring its disconnection from the drainage bag. The device includes a port for receipt of a syringe holding an irrigation fluid. When in the drainage state the device enables fluid from the patient to passively drain into the bag. When in the irrigation state the device isolates the catheter from the bag and enables the irrigation liquid to be introduced from the syringe into the catheter and the patient's bladder to produce a contaminated fluid and also enables the contaminated fluid to be withdrawn back into the syringe. In the disposal state the device isolates the catheter from the drainage bag and enables the contaminated fluid to be introduced into the discharge bag.
