Photo-latent titanium catalysts

COMPOSITION POLYISOCYANATE BIURET
In the field of polyisocyanate compositions for the production of coatings and adhesives, the disclosed composition combines a polyisocyanate compound with biuret motifs, a protic, polar reactive diluent compound, one of the addition compounds thereof, and an aprotic reactive diluent compound. Also disclosed is a method for producing the composition, and to the use thereof for producing a coating or an adhesive.
Method for Joining Two Fibre-Reinforced Plastic Components
The invention relates to a method for connecting two fibre-reinforced plastic components, comprising the following steps: producing a first fibre-reinforced plastic component, wherein a fabric made of fibrous matting is provided, which is impregnated with a resin-curing agent mixture, which is then subsequently cured, wherein the part of the surface of the first fibre-reinforced plastic component, which is to be later adhered to the second fibre-reinforced plastic component (hereinafter also referred to as joining surface), is masked with an adhesive strip before the impregnation of the fibrous matting with the resin-curing agent mixture; producing a second fibre-reinforced plastic component using the above steps, wherein the part of the surface of the second fibre-reinforced plastic component, which is to be later adhered to the first fibre-reinforced plastic component, is also masked with an adhesive strip before the impregnation of the fibrous matting with the resin-curing agent mixture; removing the adhesive strips from the two finished fibre-reinforced plastic components; bringing the two joining surfaces in contact; introducing a resin-curing agent mixture between the two joining surfaces; curing the resin-curing agent mixture, wherein the adhesive strip has a carrier film, on one side of which an adhesive mass, in particular self-adhesive mass is applied, and wherein the carrier film consists of fluoropolymers, polyethylene polymers, undrawn polypropylenes or of metal, and the adhesive mass is an acrylate or silicon adhesive mass.
HIGH-GLOSS PAINT COMPOSITION FOR INTERIOR PART
Embodiments relate to a high-gloss paint composition for interior parts, which can guarantee excellent appearance and drying property at a relatively low temperature and can realize coating properties such as adhesion, moisture tolerance, and chemical resistance. According to at least one embodiment, there is provided a high-gloss paint composition for interior parts, including: 25 parts by weight to 30 parts by weight of a polyester resin; 35 parts by weight to 40 parts by weight of an acrylic polyol resin; 10 parts by weight to 20 parts by weight of a colorant; 0.5 part by weight to 2 parts by weight of an ultraviolet (UV) absorber; and 10 parts by weight to 25 parts by weight of a solvent based on total 100 parts by weight of the composition.

An antibacterial coated product includes, on a base material, a coating film of an antibacterial coating material that contains at least composite ceramic powders containing a photocatalytic component, adsorbent component, and metal component, and a binder, wherein the antibacterial activity (JIS Z 2801: 2010) of the coating film is 2.0 or higher and the requirement(s) of (1) and/or (2) below is/are satisfied: (1) with respect to the composite ceramic powder in the antibacterial coating material, the volume average dispersed particle diameter (D.sub.50) is 250 nm or smaller, and the ratio of the 90% cumulative volume particle diameter (D.sub.90) and the volume average dispersed particle diameter (D.sub.50), or D.sub.90/D.sub.50, is 1.5 or lower; and (2) the thickness of the coating film is 80 ?m or smaller and the haze (JIS K 7136: 2000) of the antibacterial coated product or coating film is 25 or lower.

The invention relates to novel silane-modified formamides and/or pre-polymers for bonding and/or sealing diverse substrate materials, such as, for example metal, wood, glass and/or plastic. The invention also relates to a reactive single-component adhesive system comprising the claimed silane-modified formamide and/or pre-polymers.
