FLEXIBLE FOAMS
The present invention relates to a composition for preparing flexible foams and the application thereof. The composition comprises the following components: a. an isocyanate mixture comprising: a1) an aliphatic and/or alicyclic isocyanate monomer, and a2) an aliphatic and/or alicyclic; isocyanate trimer, wherein the mass ratio of said monomer to said trimer is in a range of 3:1-200:1; b. a polymer polyol mixture comprising: b1) a first polyether polyol having a number average molecular weight of not less than 3000 g/mol with an ethylene oxide content of 5-20 wt. %, b2) a second polyether polyol having a number average molecular weight of not less than 3000 g/mol with an ethylene oxide content of more than 60 wt. %, wherein the mass ratio of said first polyether polyol to said second polyether polyol is in a range of 4:1-100:1; c. an isocyanate-reactive group comprising compound having a number average molecular weight of 32-400 g/mol; d. a catalyst; e. a foaming agent; and f. optionally, an additive; wherein said composition has an isocyanate index of 70-120.
Multilayer Composites of Printed Films
The invention relates to a multilayer composite, containing a first polymeric layer which on a side is coated with a printing ink containing a polyurethane as binder, and a second layer which with a polyurethane dispersion as adhesive is joined at least partly with the side of the first polymeric layer which is coated with the printing ink containing a polyurethane as binder.

HARD CLEAR PROTECTIVE PAINT COATING
A coating composition consisting essentially of one or more aliphatic or aromatic polyisocyanates, or combinations thereof, one or more catalysts, and one or more solvents. The composition is capable of forming a hard clear protective paint coating when applied to a surface, and the polyisocyanate is allowed to react with ambient moisture. A method for applying the coating comprising filtering compressed air to reduce moisture and impurities and then applying the coating composition to a painted surface using the filtered compressed air.
COPOLYMER HYBRID AEROGELS BASED ON ISOCYANATE - CYCLIC ETHER - CLAY NETWORKS
An aerogel according to the present invention is obtained by reacting silanol moieties on a surface of a clay; an isocyanate compound A; an isocyanate compound B; a cyclic ether compound; a solvent A; and a solvent B. Aerogels according to the present invention have good mechanical properties and good thermal insulation properties.
SEALANT SYSTEM FOR CHLORINATED WATER POOLS
A method for adhesively sealing a joint or a surface in or on a building structure that is in contact with chlorinated water, includes the steps: applying a primer composition P onto the surface or into the joint to be sealed; waiting for primer composition P to be cured; applying a moisture-curable sealant composition S onto the cured primer composition P, thus sealing the joint or the surface; and curing the moisture-curable sealant composition S by means of moisture; wherein said primer composition P comprises: at least one polyol and at least one polyisocyanate, or a polyurethane reaction product thereof, and at least one organic solvent; and wherein said moisture-curable sealant composition S includes: between 10 and 60 wt.-%, based on the total composition S, of at least one organic polymer having hydrolysable silane groups, and at least one silane curing catalyst.
Solventless adhesive composition and process for making and use in forming a laminate
The present disclosure provides a process comprising providing an isocyanate component A comprising a blend of (i) an aromatic isocyanate prepolymer and (ii) an aliphatic isocyanate prepolymer; providing a polyol component B comprising a blend of; (i) a phosphate-functional polyol, (ii) a polyether polyol, and (iii) an element selected from the group consisting of a polyurethane polyol, a polyester polyol and a combination thereof; mixing component A and component B to form a solventless adhesive (SLA) composition, wherein a weight ratio of component A to component B is from 2:1 to 1:1, the SLA composition having a pot life from 30 min to 60 min at 40 C; applying the SLA composition between a first film and a second film to form a raw laminate; and curing the raw laminate to form a laminate product.
