Polyurethane foam-forming compositions, methods of producing polyurethane foams, polyurethane foams produced from such compositions made by such methods, as well as isocyanate-reactive compositions. The polyurethane foam-forming compositions include a polyol blend, a blowing agent composition, and a polyisocyanate. The polyol blend includes an aromatic amine-initiated polyether polyol, a saccharide-initiated polyether polyol, and an aromatic polyester polyol and has a content of —C.sub.2H.sub.4O— units of 3 to 6% by weight, based on the total weight of the polyurethane foam-forming composition. The blowing agent composition includes a hydrochlorofluoroolefin and a carbon dioxide-generating chemical blowing agent.

Reversibly cross-linkable resin

Reversibly cross-linkable foam is provided. The reversibly cross-linked foam includes a first polymeric material, at least one reversibly cross-linkable monomer polymerized with the first polymeric material, and at least one blowing agent. The reversibly cross-linkable co-polymeric foam is thermally stable at temperatures of at least 10 degrees higher than otherwise identical polymeric foam that does not include the reversibly cross-linkable agent polymerized with the first polymeric material.

Provided are a polyol composition in which hard caking does not occur when stored for a long period of time, and a polyurethane foam using the same.

The polyol composition comprises a polyol compound, a foaming agent, a filler, and a metal oxide fine particle, the foaming agent including a hydrofluoroolefin, and the metal oxide fine particle having a count number ratio of OH ions of a metal constituting the metal oxide fine particle with respect to a total count number of all ions measured using time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry of 0.1 or less.

An aerosol can configuration includes an outer can, an inner container and a spray head with a discharge element. The spray head has an outlet valve connected to the interior of the outer can and an outlet valve connected to the interior of the inner container. The two outlet valves are opened jointly by pressing on the spray head, so that the contents of the outer can and the contents of the inner container jointly enter the discharge element. To form a foam, the outer can contains at least 30-70% by weight isocyanate, in particular diphenylmethane 4,4′-diisocyanate, 3-15% by weight polyol with an OH number of less than 300, and 5-30% by weight liquid gas at a critical temperature of ≥+70° C. At least 5-30% by weight polyol with an OH number of more than 300, and 1-10% by weight liquid gas with a critical temperature of ≥+70° C. are contained in the inner container.

A RIGID POLYURETHANE FOAM FORMULATION AND FOAM MADE THEREFROM

A rigid polyurethane foam formulation comprising a polyol composition comprising, by weight based on the weight of the polyol composition, more than 70% of at least one polyester polyol having an average hydroxyl number of from 150 to less than 300 mg KOH/g and an average functionality of at least 2; a blowing agent comprising water and an auxiliary blowing agent; a silicone copolymer surfactant; from 1% to 5% by weight based on the weight of the polyol composition, of a cyclic siloxane having a surface tension less than 21 dynes/cm at 25° C., wherein the weight ratio of the cyclic siloxane to the silicone copolymer surfactant is from 0.6 to less than 2.27; a catalyst, and optionally a flame retardant; and a polyisocyanate; such that the isocyanate index is in the range of from 180 to 500; a rigid polyurethane foam formed from the foam formulation; and a method of forming a rigid polyurethane foam.

MIXED LIQUID AGENT, POLYURETHANE COMPOSITION, POLYURETHANE FOAM, SPRAY CAN, AND MIXING SYSTEM

A mixed liquid agent of the present invention comprises a polyol compound, a catalyst, a flame retardant, and an organic solvent. The flame retardant includes a solid flame retardant. The organic solvent has a vapor pressure at 20° C. of 0.1 MPaG or more. A viscosity at 1 rpm and 25° C. after the organic solvent has been volatilized is 4,000 mPa.Math.s or more and less than 250,000 mPa.Math.s.

Polyol blends and their use in producing PUR-PIR foam-forming compositions

Polyol blends are disclosed that include a saccharide-initiated polyether polyol, an aromatic polyester polyol, and a polyalkylene polyamine-initiated polyether polyol. Also disclosed are foam-forming compositions containing such polyol blends, rigid foams made using such polyurethane foam-forming compositions, and methods for producing such foams, including use of such foams as panel insulation.
