METHOD OF MANUFACTURING FOOD PACKAGING PLASTIC FILMS AND FOOD PACKAGING PLASTIC FILMS THUS PRODUCED
The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a plastic film (i.e. preferably a thermoplastic film), particularly a (thermo)plastic food packing film, especially a detectable (thermo)plastic film, which plastic film comprises detectable particles incorporated therein, as well as to the plastic film thus produced and to its applications and usages (i.e. its use).
PBAT resin composition
The present invention discloses a PBAT resin composition comprising following components: (a) poly(butyleneadipate-co-terephthalate); (b) iron element; wherein, based on a total weight of the PBAT resin composition, a weight content of the iron element is 1 ppm-500 ppm. By adding iron-containing compounds into the composition and controlling the content of the iron element in a range of 1 ppm-500 ppm in the composition, a speed of reaction of aromatic structure in the PBAT resin under a hot and humid condition can be postponed, so that after the prepared PBAT resin composition is aged in boiling water for 24 hours and 48 hours, a variation of b-value is less than 2. The PBAT resin composition has obviously improved color stability in resistance to boiling water aging.
Polymer gels and methods for monitoring gel integrity in wellbores
A polymer gel may comprise a polymer gel base material and superparamagnetic nanoparticles. At least 25 wt. % of the superparamagnetic nanoparticles may have diameters in a first size range between a first diameter and a second diameter. At least 25 wt. % of the superparamagnetic nanoparticles may have diameters in a second size range between a third diameter and a fourth diameter. The Brownian relaxation time of the portion of the superparamagnetic nanoparticles in the first size range may be at least 5 times the Neel relaxation time of the portion of the superparamagnetic nanoparticles in the first size range. The Neel relaxation time of the portion of the superparamagnetic nanoparticles in the second size range may be at least 5 times the Brownian relaxation time of the portion of the superparamagnetic nanoparticles in the second size range. Methods for monitoring gel integrity in a wellbore are further included.
COMPOSITE THERMOPLASTIC MATERIAL FOR COMPOSITE TUBULAR STRUCTURES
The invention relates to a composition comprising at least one fluoropolymer and at least one high-density filler. The invention also relates to a thermoplastic composite tubular structure which comprises at least one external layer consisting of said composition. The invention also relates to the process for the manufacture of said composition, and also to its applications as external layer for weighing down thermoplastic composite pipes transporting fluids in the context of oil and gas exploration and exploitation.
Magnetic toner
A magnetic toner includes toner particles. The toner particles each include a toner mother particle. The toner mother particle includes a polyester resin domain, a vinyl resin domain, and a magnetic powder. A vinyl resin constituting the vinyl resin domain includes a repeating unit having a non-ring-opened oxazoline group. An area rate of an area in which the vinyl resin domain is exposed in a surface area of the toner mother particle is at least 0.02% and no greater than 1.00%.
Glove
A glove that is detectable by a metal detector. The glove is prepared from latex formulation including a metallic additive. The metallic additive includes a pigment, a surfactant and a solvent. The metallic additive is used in an amount of at least 10 phr based on an amount of a latex formulation.
POLYMERIC PARTICLES
This invention relates to monodisperse magnetic hydrogel polymer particles comprising a magnetic material and a polymer formed from (a) a hydrophilic vinylic monomer having a log P.sub.oct/wat (log P) of less than about 0.5; and (b) a crosslinker comprising at least two vinyl groups. The invention also relates to monodisperse coated hydrogel polymer particles comprising a polymer formed from (a) a hydrophilic vinylic monomer having a log P.sub.oct/wat (log P) of less than about 0.5; and (b) a crosslinker comprising at least two vinyl groups; and a coating. Also provided are methods of forming the monodisperse magnetic hydrogel polymer particles and monodisperse coated polymer particles.
