Functionalized silicone materials for three-dimensional printing

A material for three-dimensional printing including at least one of a functionalized silicone polymer, a functionalized silica particle, or a combination thereof; wherein the functionalized silicone polymer is functionalized with a member of the group consisting of a carboxylic acid, an amine, and combinations thereof; and wherein the functionalized silica particle is functionalized with a member of the group consisting of a carboxylic acid, an amine, and combinations thereof. A process for preparing the three-dimensional printing material. A process for three-dimensional printing use of the material.

Use of mono-substituted succinic anhydride

The use of at least one mono-substituted succinic anhydride is described before or during compounding of a polymer composition including at least one polymer as polymer component and at least one calcium carbonate-based material as filler. The use of the at least one mono-substituted succinic anhydride can reduce the polymer decomposition during processing and/or can decrease the melt flow rate of such a compounded polymer composition by at least 10%. The use can also increase the viscosity of such a compounded polymer composition by at least 10%, in comparison to the same polymer composition that has been treated the same way in the absence of any mono-substituted succinic anhydride, wherein the polymer composition does not include polylactic acid.

20220348763 · 2022-11-03 ·

The present application relates to a chain extender masterbatch for PET extrusion foaming, preparation method therefor, and a use thereof. The masterbatch is mainly prepared by the following components in parts by weight: 5-30 parts of PMDA, 25-90 parts of PBT, 5-70 parts of POE+POE-g-GMA, in which POE accounts for 0-85% of POE+POE-g-GMA by weight; a melting temperature of PBT is 170-225° C. The preparation method includes melting and mixing the above components at a melting temperature of 180-230° C. and a screw speed of 100-500 rpm, and air cooling strand granulating or air cooling die face granulating. The masterbatch can be used in foaming processes of fiber grade PET, film grade PET, bottle grade PET, engineering plastic grade PET and recycled PET.

Bio-based UV-curable 3D printed resin and preparation method thereof

A bio-based UV-curable 3D printed resin includes the following components by weight percentage: 19-78% of biodegradable starch resin polymer, 1-9% of radical initiator, 0.2-4% of adjuvant, 13-62% of reactive diluent and 2-8% hydroxyethyl starch. The preparation method thereof comprises the following steps of: mixing the above components by component proportion, ultrasonically washing the mixture for 10-20 min by an ultrasonic cleaner under a water temperature of 50° C., and then mixing the same in a homogenizer homogeneously to obtain the bio-based UV-curable 3D printed resin. The renewable resources are adopted and the environmental pollution and energy consumption are reduced, which is of bio-safety. Moreover, the hydroxyethyl starch has a high molecular compound generated by hydroxyethylation of glucose ring of amylose, resulting in various benefits. The 3D printed resin obtained has excellent performance and low skin irritation value.
