Laminated film

A protective film is capable of protecting and preserving an optical sheet surface, particularly the back surface of a prism sheet, independent of the shape and composition thereof in a range of adhesive forces appropriate for various adherends. A layered film having an adhesive layer having a styrene-based elastomer as the main component thereof on at least one surface of a base material layer, the layered film characterized in that the loss tangent tan and the shear storage modulus G of the elastomer at 1 Hz in a temperature range of 30-60 C. are within specific ranges.

LAMINATE INCLUDING ADHESIVE LAYER INCLUDING ACRYLIC ADHESIVE COMPOSITION

A laminate is provided that has an adhesive layer including a composition containing an acrylic block copolymer, the adhesive layer being so designed that it has a small change in adhesive force over time. The laminate includes an adhesive layer (B) including an acrylic adhesive composition (Z), and a substrate layer (A) including a polyolefin resin (a), the acrylic adhesive composition (Z) including an acrylic block copolymer (I) having one or more polymer blocks (b1) containing an acrylic acid ester-derived structural unit, and one or more polymer blocks (b2) containing a methacrylic acid ester-derived structural unit, the polymer block (b1) containing a structural unit derived from an acrylic acid ester (b1-1) represented by the general formula (1) CH.sub.2?CHCOOR.sup.1 (wherein R.sup.1 denotes a C7-C12 organic group).

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR A TEMPERATURE RELEASED ADHESIVE STRUCTURE FOR USE WITH BANDAGES

An adhesive article that remains securely bonded to a substrate until a stimulus is applied. The article may be embodied as an adhesive tape, a bandage, or as other articles. The stimulus may be a change in temperature or application of a reduction that causes a structure within the article to break, creak, or otherwise disrupt to expose the adhesive to a solvent, such as via a difference in Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) or by exposing the article to a glass transition temperature.

Acrylic emulsion pressure sensitive adhesive composition

An acrylic emulsion pressure sensitive adhesive composition is provided. The acrylic emulsion pressure sensitive adhesive composition, due to pH-dependent properties, exhibits stable adhesion when attached to an adherend, but when it needs to be removed, it can be easily removed without residue using an alkaline solution. Thus, if the acrylic emulsion pressure sensitive adhesive composition is used as a pressure sensitive adhesive for a label of a plastic packaging article, the label can be easily removed during a recycling process, thus improving recycling efficiency.

Screen splicing structure and method for forming screen splicing structure

A screen splicing structure is provided. The screen splicing structure includes a substrate layer, a middle adhesive layer, and a surface layer. The substrate layer includes a first substrate and a second substrate. The second substrate is spliced with the first substrate, and a seam is formed at a splicing place. The surface layer and the middle adhesive layer are stacked. The surface layer covers the seam by bonding the middle adhesive layer and the substrate layer. The peeling strength of the surface layer and the substrate layer is greater than or equal to 1,000 gf/inch. A method for forming the screen splicing structure is also provided.

Method for producing glass unit and pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet

Provided is a method for producing a glass unit. The method comprises a step (A) of obtaining a glass plate comprising a glass substrate and a Low-E layer placed on the glass substrate; a step (B) of applying a protective sheet to the Low-E layer surface of the glass plate; an optional step (C) of subjecting the glass plate to at least one process selected from the group consisting of transportation, storage, processing, washing and handling; a step (D) of removing the protective sheet from the glass plate; and a step (E) of assembling a glass unit using the glass plate. The protective sheet comprises a waterproof layer, and a PSA layer provided to at least one face of the waterproof layer. The PSA layer has a surface hardness of 0.5 MPa or less.
