A topical temperature therapy device that imparts known temperatures as a function of time to the therapy skin surface of a user during the course of therapy. The skin surface can be intact or breached through injury or surgery. The therapy temperature and time profile can be varied by varying the selections of, among several parameters, the formulation of the heat exchange material and the material and dimensions of the heat exchange material container, thus meeting the needs of a wide range of injuries and demographics. The therapy device contains a temperature indicator indicating the temperature of the heat exchange material in real time. The therapy device further provides visibility to the therapy skin surface during the course of the therapy to allow visual inspection of the therapy area as means to improve therapeutic outcomes. The therapy device is flexible and conforms to the anatomy of the therapy area.

A temperature controlled therapeutic plush toy assembly is disclosed. The plush toy has a body, a thermal block contained within the body, and temperature retaining materials contained within the body. The thermal block can hold either hot or cold temperatures. The temperature of the thermal block can be modified by either placing the plush toy in the microwave or placing the plush toy in the freezer. The temperature retaining materials provide insulation to the thermal block and disperse the modified temperature of the thermal block throughout the body of the plush toy. The plush toy also has interchangeable temperature controlling garments. A heating garment is capable to heating the temperature of the body of the plush toy and a cooling garment is capable of cooling the temperature of the body of the plush toy.

An article for therapy and treatment of at least one eye. The article includes a backing for application to the at least one eye. The backing includes at least one receiver positioned to align with the at least one eye. The article also includes at least one pod that is detachably secured within the at least one receiver. The at least one pod includes material for delivering therapy and treatment to the at least one eye.

A hand therapy kit includes a housing having a lid that is expandable from a folded position to an unfolded position to expose a working surface on an inside of the lid. An elastic cord is attached at two or more anchor points on the working surface to define at least one gap for receiving a finger. The finger can be therapeutically exercised by moving from a first position proximal to the working surface to a second position distal to the working surface. Dry eye treatment apparatus and methods are described herein which generally comprise a patch or strip affixed to the skin of the upper and/or lower eyelids to deliver heat or other forms of energy, pressure, drugs, moisture, etc. (alone or in combination) to the one or more meibomian glands contained within the underlying skin. The present invention relates to a therapeutic brassiere garment for healing or easing breast pain related to breastfeeding, surgery, menstruation, childbirth and more. The therapeutic brassiere garment features front panels with cups for covering and supporting breasts. Each front panel includes a pocket for holding a therapeutic pad. The therapeutic pad can be put in a microwave for heating and/or in a refrigerator/freezer for cooling and can then be accommodated in the pockets of the garment for providing hot and/or cold therapy. The garment comes in different sizes and styles available for pain relief due to any type of condition. Each pocket includes three sewn sides and an opening for preventing the therapeutic pad from slipping into inappropriate or uncomfortable positions while wearing the brassiere garment.

In an example, the device can include a base, sidewalls extending upwardly from the base, and a cervical support surface opposite the base and configured to unite the sidewalls. In certain examples, the sidewalls can include opposingly paired lateral sidewalls and first and second longitudinal sidewalls. In some examples, the cervical support surface can include a first planar portion adjacent the first longitudinal sidewall, a second planar portion adjacent the second longitudinal sidewall, and an arcuate portion intermediate the planar portions.

A dressing for treatment of a body part surface of a human or animal patient. The dressing includes a compress with a plurality of loose fill granules contained in an enclosure. The plurality of loose fill granules is configured to deliver moist heat. The dressing also includes antibacterial medication that is activated by the moist heat delivered from the compress and released toward the body part surface. The fill granules substantially retain at least one antimicrobial metal material therein and allow repeated absorption and dissipation of moisture to and from the fill granules.
