Enhanced peroxygen stability using anionic surfactant in TAED-containing peroxygen solid

Stabilized compositions employing a binding system for improving shelf stability of an activated bleach composition containing a peroxygen source and a catalyst activator are disclosed. Stabilized compositions employ a binding system comprising an anionic surfactant for a solid formulation of a catalyst activator and peroxygen source to provide shelf stability for an activated bleach composition. Methods of formulating and use are further disclosed.

SOLID COMPOSITION FOR THE TREATMENT OF TEXTILES

The invention relates to a solid composition for use in the treatment of textiles, containing respectively with respect to the total weight of the solid composition, a respective total amount of 25-65 wt.-% of at least one peroxide compound, 10-20 wt.-% of at least one organic bleaching activator, 5-20 wt.-% alkali metal silicate, 1-15 wt.-% of at least one polysaccharide, 0-5 wt.-% surfactant. Said solid composition is enveloped in a water-soluble material in order to obtain storage-stable single use portions together with liquid surfactant-containing compositions. The claimed solid composition can be used as an additive in conventional textile treatment agents.

USE OF POLY ALPHA-1,3-GLUCAN ETHERS AS VISCOSITY MODIFIERS

A hydrocolloid or aqueous solution comprising a poly alpha-1,3-glucan ether compound is disclosed having a viscosity of at least about 10 centipoise (cPs). The poly alpha-1,3-glucan ether compound in these compositions has a degree of substitution of about 0.05 to about 3.0. Also disclosed is a method for increasing the viscosity of a hydrocolloid or aqueous composition using a poly alpha-1,3-glucan ether compound.

The invention relates to solid detergents for cleaning restaurant soils and methods of making and using the same. Embodiments of the invention can include solid cleaning compositions having an alkalinity source comprising an alkali metal carbonate, a surfactant system comprising an anionic surfactant and a nonionic surfactant, a water conditioning agent, and water. Embodiments of the invention can have a pH between about 7 and about 11, and are suitable for removing restaurant soils, including, synthetic grease, animal grease, and proteinaceous soils.
