Limited step methods and apparatus for medicine sterilizing and bottling
Methods and apparatus for sterilizing and filling vessels which are kept in a sterile environment while being filled are capped before filling and immediately thereafter are ready to be displaced into a potentially contaminating environment while retaining a predetermined SAL are disclosed. Such vessels can be syringes use for dispensing Avastin or conventional syringes. Also method and apparatus for making an eye drop bottle using a conventional medical syringe which can be used in kits made according to the present invention are disclosed. In addition, a method for modifying conventional eye drop bottles for use in kits made according to the instant invention is disclosed. Further, a method for linking single convenience kits to form increased numbers of vessels filled by the same single act, used to fill a single convenience kit, is also disclosed.
Eye drop dispenser
A dispenser assembly includes a dispenser bottle having a nipple for dispensing a solution (e.g., eye drop solution, eye wash solution, eye lid cleaner and/or wash solution), and a cap removably couplable to the dispenser bottle over the nipple. The dispenser bottle has a chamber that removably receives a single-use vial cartridge. An eye cup is fixedly coupled to the dispenser bottle around the nipple, or the eye cup is detachable and invertible relative to the dispenser bottle. The eye cup can be supported on or rest on the periphery of the eye socket to facilitate delivery of the solution onto or over a user's eye.
Device for packaging and dispensing a substance for ophthalmic use
Device for packaging and dispensing drops of a substance for ophthalmic use, generally fluid, semi-fluid or in suspension, emulsion or oily solution, including a dispensing accessory with a first valve made of an elastomer material that allows the substance to pass through when the dispensing accessory is stressed, without allowing outside air to pass through in the opposite direction when the dispensing accessory is relaxed, characterized in that the first valve is covered by a layer of Parylene.
ELECTRONIC DROP DISPENSING DEVICE AND METHOD OF OPERATION THEREOF
Disclosed is a portable automatic electronic drop administration device and method of operation thereof. The device comprises a microcontroller communicatively coupled to at least an accelerometer and an electromechanical assembly to administer one or more drops of a liquid, semi-liquid or gaseous substance from any flexible container held within. The device detects whether it is in a suitable orientation before automatically self actuating the electromechanical assembly to administer one or more drops. It can be used in a variety of settings including self administration of eye drops, dispensing condiments or precise metering of liquid medications. Additionally, the device may contain sensors and wireless components to track usage and event data that may be communicated to a physician or other healthcare provider remotely.
Anterior segment drug delivery
A therapeutic system comprises an ocular insert placed on a region outside an optical zone of an eye. The ocular insert comprises two structures: a first skeletal structure and a second cushioning structure. The first structure functions as a skeletal frame which maintains positioning of the implant along the anterior portion of the eye and provides support to the second, cushioning structure. This first structure maintains the attachment of the therapeutic system to the anterior portion of the eye for at least thirty days. In some embodiments the first structure remains a constant size and shape, e.g. a ring shape, a ring with haptics, or a curvilinear ring that is confined to and restrainingly engages the inferior and superior conjunctival fornices so as to retain the implant within the tear fluid and/or against the tissues of the eye.
Nasolacrimal implants and related methods for tear stimulation
A device for inducing production of tears may include a body extending from a proximal end to a distal end. The body may be configured for insertion through a puncta of a subject. The device also may include a stimulus delivery mechanism positioned between the proximal end and the distal end and an induction coil operably coupled to the stimulus delivery mechanism. Further, the device may include an external controller wirelessly coupled to the induction coil for inductively transferring energy to the induction coil.

APPARATUS FOR WOUND THERAPY THAT FORMS A CHAMBER OVER THE WOUND
Method and apparatus for protecting and treating wounds are provided. A housing is adapted to be adhesively secured over the wound of an injured or infected person. The housing has an opening for access to the wound, and is further provided with inlet and outlet ports for the application of therapeutic materials. There is particularly provided a program for a closed looped system for such wound care. Additionally, the invention provides for a protective and treating cover for the eye, which can be either opaque or translucent. Additionally, a mechanism for accurately depositing eye drops without risking injury to the eye is also provided.
OCULAR INSTILLATION ASSISTING TOOL
An embodiment of the present invention provides an ocular instillation assisting device that allows for ocular instillation of an ophthalmic solution in a subject facing forward even in a case where a remaining amount of the ophthalmic solution has been decreased, as with a case where the remaining amount of the ophthalmic solution is large. The ocular instillation assisting device (100) in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention includes an assisting device body (20). The assisting device body (20) fixes, at one end thereof, an ophthalmic solution container (10) such that a nozzle portion (14) is at a lower position than a container body (11) in a state in which a cup (40) has determined a position to which the ophthalmic solution is to be administered. The assisting device body (20) rotatably supports, at the other end thereof, a lever (30) for causing discharge of the ophthalmic solution.
Dropper of eye drops
A dropper of eye drops comprises an eye drops storage for storing eye drops, which has an opening at the top and an eye drop outlet at the bottom; an elastic seal assembly installed inside the eye drop storage and forming a space for storing the eye drops together with the eye drop outlet; a pressing device installed at the top of the eye drop storage and configured to press the elastic seal assembly so as to compress the space for storing the eye drops, such that the eye drops are dropped out of the eye drop outlet. The dropper of eye drops eye drops by means of pressing the pressing device, and thus can be operated simply and safely, time- and energy-saving, and avoid waste. In addition, the dropper of eye drops has a simple design in structure and is convenient for use.
