Ski goggles with means for adjusting the fit of the nasal support region
A protective mask for sports use that includes a front frame for the retention of at least one lens, a nasal support element, the fit of the nasal support element being adjusted, by adaptation of the frame to the shape of the face in the nasal support region. The support element is structurally independent of the front frame and at least one appendage is mounted to be rotatable on the front frame, at the nasal support region, about an axis of rotation and also acting on the nasal support element, in order to displace the support relative to the front frame, the at least one appendage being reversibly locked in a selected angular position relative to the frame, about the axis, so as to improve the adaptation of the nasal support element to the shape of the nasal region of the face.
PASSIVE VENTED GOGGLE
The invention pertains to a vented goggle that optimizes air circulation to enhance user comfort and mitigate fogging. Key features include a frame that houses a lens and has both an inlet and an outlet for airflow, with a channel connecting the two. The frame's exterior surface faces away from the user, while its interior surface contacts the user's face. A vented cover can be incorporated on the outlet, and liner material may be applied to the interior surface or inner periphery of the frame for enhanced comfort. Multiple pairs of inlets and outlets can be included for superior ventilation. A removable insert forms a duct in the channel and also serves as an attachment point for a goggle strap. The design offers improved performance and comfort in a variety of environments and activities.
Goggles with integral cleaning mechanism
Goggles include a lens mounted on a frame having a gasket adapted for seating against a user's face. A strap is attached to the frame for securing the goggles around the user's head. The goggles include a retraction mechanism fixedly mounted on the frame or the strap, a squeegee for cleaning the lens of the goggles, and a cord having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end being attached to the squeegee, and the distal end being operably attached to the retraction mechanism.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR POSITIONING EYEWEAR
A device with a stationary portion and a rotatable portion, wherein the rotatable portion is lifted to form a substantially L-shaped bracket. Device is configured to be disposed on the forehead of the wearer, preferably coupled with protective headgear. When the rotatable portion is lifted, the bracket is configured for receiving an edge of eyewear. When the eyewear is pulled upward and back due to forces exerted by straps disposed around a user's head, the bracket exerts an equal and opposite force on the edge of the eyewear, holding the eyewear in place. Bracket may include grips for easier use in inclement weather or when the user's hands are otherwise encumbered.
Interchangeable lens goggle adaptable to prevent fogging
Anti-fog, interchangeable-lens goggle adapted for use with a battery comprising: a body with a flexible posterior portion for engaging a user's face and an anterior portion; a lens having a resistive anti-fog element thereon, the lens adapted for engaging the anterior portion of the body; an engagement mechanism for releasably interconnecting the lens and the body; an interconnection mechanism depending from the body adapted for detachably interconnecting the heating element of the lens and the battery, the interconnection means operable or integral with the engagement mechanism such that interconnecting the heating element of the lens with the battery also reinforces interconnecting of the lens with the semi-rigid anterior portion of the body; and a strap adapted for holding the goggle on one of a user's head and helmet.
Ear-engaging and eye-covering head assembly
The present invention relates to an eye-protector assembly. The assembly includes arcuate-shaped protective cover. The assembly includes an eye-covering member pivotably connected to the protective cover. The protective cover is shaped to receive the eye-covering member when the eye-covering member is pivoted towards the cover. The assembly includes a pair of connector mechanisms for selectively coupling the protective cover to a hearing protector.
EYEWEAR ASSEMBLY
A goggle comprising a frame with one or more openings; a first lens is having a front surface and a rear surface; a lens bracket having a front surface adapted to be coupled to the rear surface of the first lens; a second lens is having a front surface and a rear surface. The front surface of the lens bracket is coupled to the rear surface of the second lens such that the second lens is placed over the first lens, thereby forming a single consolidated lens. A plurality of connectors on the lens bracket are adapted to releasably couple with a respective plurality of coupling points formed on a front surface of the goggle. The lens is adapted to be releasably attached to the goggle by the lens bracket.
Strap attachment systems and goggles including same
Examples of strap attachment systems and goggles including same are described. Goggles according to the present examples may include a lens, a strap connector attached to the lens, and a strap including an attachment portion configured to be removably coupled to the strap connector. The strap connector may be fixedly or removably attached to the lens, and in certain examples the strap connector is pivotally coupled to the lens. A strap connector according to some examples herein includes a first molded body including a passage and a second molded body including a post, the passage configured to engage the post when inserted into the passage to secure the connector to the lens.
GOGGLES FOR SNOWSPORTS
A goggle for use in snowsports including a flexible frame and a lens assembly, magnets or magnetic elements being provided on upper and lower edges of an inner surface of the lens assembly and magnets or magnetic elements being provided in corresponding positions on an outer surface of the frame, for releasably holding the lens assembly in the frame, and at least two releasable clips being provided on the frame, the clips being movable between a released position and an engaged position, the clips in the engaged position overlying a portion of the lens assembly and each clip including at least one retaining member which in use passes into an aperture at least part way through the lens assembly, in a direction substantially perpendicular to the surface of the lens assembly, for preventing or limiting movement of the lens assembly in a direction away from the lateral side of the frame.
LENS ASSEMBLY
A lens assembly that can be quickly released and assembled is provided. The lens assembly has a lens structure, a fixing structure and a quick release structure. The fixing structure can fix the lens structure around the eyes of a user. The quick release structure has a first quick release portion and a second quick release portion. The first quick release portion is disposed on the lens structure, and the second quick release portion is disposed on the fixing structure. The lens structure and the fixing structure can be assembled and disassembled rapidly by means of the first quick release portion and the second quick release portion without additional tools.
