FACE SHIELD AND MASK-EQUIPPED FACE SHIELD
Provided are a face shield that can easily be combined and used with various masks and a mask-equipped face shield.
A face shield 1-1 is the face shield 1-1 that is attachable/detachable to/from a mask 2, and covers at least an eye of a face of a user who wears the mask 2. The face shield 1-1 is made of a film 101-1 having flexibility and translucency. At least a pair of cut lines 102L and 102R through which straps 202 of the mask 2 can be inserted are formed in both left and right parts of the face shield 1-1. The cut lines 102 have engagement parts 102a and 102b to be engaged with the straps 202 inserted through the cut lines 102.
EYEWEAR FRAME WITH INTEGRAL ROLL-OFF SYSTEM
A goggle includes a frame, a lens, and a roll-off system. The frame has a first lateral end and an opposing second lateral end. The frame defines a lens cavity. The lens is disposed within the lens cavity of the frame. The roll-off system includes a first canister, a second canister, and an actuator mechanism. The first canister is at least partially integrally formed with the first lateral end of the frame. The first canister defines a first interior cavity configured to store a roll of film. The second canister is at least partially integrally formed with the opposing second lateral end of the frame. The second canister defines a second interior cavity configured to receive a strip of film from the roll of film. The actuator mechanism is configured to facilitate selectively dispensing the strip of film from the first canister across the lens to the second canister.
HYDRO-CONTACT LENS
An eye treatment device includes the following: a goggle frame, having at least one cavity, configured to surround and be spaced from an eye; a corrective lens along a face of the goggle frame; and an inlet formed in an upper portion of the goggle frame, the inlet fluidly communicating the cavity to an external environment; further including: a sealing material along a perimeter of the goggle frame for forming a hermetical seal against skin around a socket of the eye, wherein the sealing material is a portion of a suction cup; and further including a tapered stopper for fluidly sealing the inlet, wherein the corrective lens is made from gas permeable material.
METHOD, EQUATION, DESIGN, AND CONSTRUCT TO PROVIDE UNIFORM HEATING FOR SHAPED HEATERS WITH IMPROVED BUSBAR DESIGNS
A method, equation, system, and device for electrically heating Indium Tin Oxide (ITO) and other transparent conductive materials having a uniform sheet resistivity for defogging and de-icing in a cold environment. The use of nonparallel busbars for connecting the conductive materials reduces excessive and dangerous hot zones. The mathematical analysis and equations provide a means of precisely providing an intermittent electrical connection so that the Watt density and heating is uniform, allowing much higher temperature for de-icing and defogging and more efficient use of energy. This same concept can be used for three dimensional formed heaters to compensate for non uniform sheet resistivity. Also shown are a means of improved busbar designs and an equation and a means of altering sheet resistivity to produce electric heaters with non parallel busbars of various shapes for uniform heating
Systems and methods for minimally intrusive displays
A system includes a minimally intrusive display system (MIDS) configured to be disposed on an eyewear. The MIDS includes a display system and a sensor system configured to provide for a sensor data. The MIDS further includes a processor configured to process the sensor data to derive an activity metric. The processor is further configured to display, via the display system, the activity metric, wherein the display system is disposed in the eyewear so that the activity metric is only viewed when a user of the eyewear turns the user's pupil towards the display system at angle α from a forward direction.
GOGGLE SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Goggles and eyewear with various features may be described herein. Such goggles and eyewear may include lenses that allow for the installation of larger roll-off films, adjustable nose sections to increase comfort of a wearer, sweat management systems that include a permeable gasket and a gutter, lens attachment systems, and co-molded frames of multiple different materials.
Eyes Safety Shield Accessory For Eyewear
A patient safety shield, and its method of use, features a deflector shield that closes gaps between the bottom profile of safety eyewear worn by the patient and the patient's cheek area. The deflector shield, when positioned, oriented, and profiled across the bridge of the patients nose and under the patient's eyewear , deflects fine infectious and or injurious debris, which originates in the patient's oral cavity, from being ejected off moving parts of dental tools during a dental procedure. The deflection by the deflector shield prevents potentially infectious or injurious debris from reaching and harming the eyes of the patient that may enter through the bottom gaps.
Welding helmet
A welding helmet includes at least one helmet shell, fixing elements, a glare shield device and at least one protective screen spaced therefrom, and at least one display device for presenting data in the field of view of a welder, the at least one display device being arranged in the edge region of the field of view in the intermediate space between the glare shield device and the protective screen. The glare shield device has at least one cut-out in the area of the at least one display device. Because there is no glare shield device in the region of the display device, the view of the display device is not impeded by the glare shield device.
Safety glasses for human user; safety system
Protective goggles for human use including a pair of protective goggles for human use with at least one lens, an upper edge that is positioned against the user's forehead and a lower edge that is positioned against the user's cheek. Each of the user's eyes are covered by a separate section of lens and each of these sections extends along at least one line of curvature. It is intended that each lens section has a first and a second line of curvature that, at least in substantial part, are positioned transversely to one another, and along which the individual sections of lens extend; furthermore, that the lines of curvature of one lens section are inclined towards the lines of curvature of the other lens section in terms of their positioning.
Retractable Face Shield
Face shields provide protection against harmful objects ranging from flying debris to bodily fluids. In the wake of the global pandemic caused by COVID-19, protective face coverings have become utilized by the general population to reduce infection. Presented herein is a novel protective face shield comprising several sections which may be articulated to operate in several positions including fully extended, fully retracted, raised, and lowered. In the fully extended position, the shield provides a level of protection for both the wearer and those around them. In the fully retracted position, the shield is raised and collapsed to conform to a typical visor.
