Brim Shade and Hinge
A brim shade has a shade element, a clip, and a hinge that joins the shade element and the clip to make the brim shade. The shade element and the hinge combine to create a shade that does not allow the light to get past the brim shade. The brim shade can be adjusted through 360 degree rotation and along the side of a hat to provide protection to the wearer.
LIGHT THERAPY SPOT APPLICATOR
Phototherapy systems comprising a therapeutic lamp platform for radiant lamps such as LEDs disposed in a holdable spot applicator assembly, the holdable spot applicator assembly including a reflective surface facing towards a patient and a plurality of LEDs for communicating lamp radiation from the lamps to a user. The lamps and associated circuitry are housed within a holdable elongated structure.
Novel Protective Visor
The disclosure provides a protective visor applicable to multiple operation environments for dust prevention, anti-shock glasses, chemical defence and ray radiation protection. The protective visor comprises a headband (5), a face shield (1), protective goggles (6), a light shading screen (4), a light grid (8) and a housing (2), which are connected to each other. The light shading screen (4) and the light grid (8) constitute a light refraction and transmission device for refracting and transmitting the light, which includes a light aperture processed to have a curved surface and located at the front and upper end portion of the housing (2). The light aperture has a serrated lattice shutter structure, and the light shading screen (4) is disposed at the outer side of the light aperture. The protective visor can effectively prevent foreign splash, and absorb radiant heat and certain ultraviolet rays to protect an operator's face.
THERAPEUTIC EYE MASK SYSTEM
A therapeutic mask for treatment of the eyes, including an eye coverage portion for application to the eye, a receiver in the eye coverage portion positioned to align with the eye, and at least one pod for detachably securing within the receiver. The pod includes material for delivering thermal, moisture and/or medication therapy and treatment to the eye.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR LASER ASSISTED DEEP SCLERECTOMY
An ophthalmic laser ablation system is described with various optional features, some especially suitable for non-penetrating filtration on an eye. In one example, focusing of an ablation laser uses a movable lens coupled to a pair of converging light sources, which converge at the focal distance of the lens. In another example, laser ablation settings are selected for optimal ablation and minimal amount of thermal damage of a layer of percolating scleral tissue.
APPAREL SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR APPLYING TOPICAL TREATMENTS
An apparel system for applying topical treatments includes an article of apparel configured to cover and interface with a skin surface of a human body, the article of apparel including an oleophobic and moisture wicking layer. A method for applying a topical treatment is also disclosed.
INVISIBLE FACE MASK
The inventive Invisible Face Mask apparatus comprises a headgear or headwear such as a cap, helmet, strap or a visor, which is equipped with an air purifying mechanism, such as an air filter, that filters ambient air, and an air blower which generates an airflow pushing the purified air in a downward direction in front of and adjacent to the user's face.
Chair mounted patient isolation container
A chair mounted patient isolation container that increases the effective containment of aerosols is disclosed. In one embodiment, the isolation container includes a plurality of panels, a plurality of tabs and slots for connecting said panels, clinical access ports to allow for maximum clinical range of motion for the dental service provider, and ports for connection of external clinical devices such as external scavenging suction devices for further elimination of aerosol contamination. One embodiment of the container comprises means for mounting the container to a dental procedure chair, such that the device generally encloses the patient's head and upper torso when the patient is positioned on the dental procedure chair.
Zipper pouch with integrated moldable sleeping mask and retractable beanie
A zipper pouch integrally forming a sleeping mask enclosing a retractable beanie. The zipper pouch is comprising a top surface and a rear surface, a retractable beanie having a front surface, a rear surface, and two side surfaces; wherein a front surface of the sleeping mask pouch aligns with and joins to two triangular points on each side of the pouch. The inseam copper wire on the inside front surface of the pouch in conjunction with the pull of the beanie is what creates a comfortable fit blocking out light and covering the users head. The zipper mask pouch is compact as it stows the beanie inside by rolling it back into the pouch and fastening it with a zipper.
Ear-and-Eye Mask with Noise Attenuation and Generation
An ear-and-eye mask (10) is provided comprising a noise-attenuation-and-generation assembly (46) having a digital domain, the noise-attenuation-and-generation assembly comprising, in the digital domain, a noise cancelling-circuit (48) and a noise masking circuit (64), wherein the noise-cancelling circuit (48) receives an input from an audio capture device (56) thereof which communicates with the noise masking circuit (64). An adaptive spectral noise analyser and generator is provided which determines an unwanted remnant signal comprising the leftover unwanted frequency and/or volume after noise cancellation, and wherein the noise attenuation-and-generation assembly (46) then determines and generates a compensation frequency and/or volume for countering this unwanted remnant signal following noise attenuation for output by a speaker (36) through a stem (40) direct to the user's ears.
