Antigen Delivery Vectors and Constructs

The present invention relates to fluorocarbon vectors for the delivery of antigens to immunoresponsive target cells. It further relates to fluorocarbon vector-antigen constructs and the use of such vectors associated with antigens as vaccines and immunotherapeutics in animals.

Nucleic acids encoding anti-CD40 antibodies

The present invention includes compositions and methods for the expression, secretion and use of novel compositions for use as, e.g., vaccine and antigen delivery vectors, to delivery antigens to antigen presenting cells. In one embodiment, the vector is an anti-CD40 antibody, or fragments thereof, and one or more antigenic peptides linked to the anti-CD40 antibody or fragments thereof, including humanized antibodies.

Chloride salt of TAT-NR2B9C

The present invention provides lyophilized formulations of active agents, particularly of TAT-NR2B9c, as chloride salts. TAT-NR2B9c has shown promise for treating stroke, aneurysm, subarachnoid hemorrhage and other neurological or neurotraumatic conditions. The chloride salt of TAT-NR2B9c shows improved stability compared with the acetate salt form of prior formulations. Formulations of the chloride salt of TAT-NR2B9c are stable at ambient temperature thus facilitating maintenance of supplies of such a formulation in ambulances for administration at the scene of illness or accident or in transit to a hospital.

Generation of human anti-HIV-1 ENV monoclonal antibodies with neutralizing activity from humanized mice infected with HIV-1

The present invention provides highly efficient methods, and compositions related thereto, for generating high titer human antibodies or antibody fragments thereof in a mammalian subject. The methods comprise administering a virus or virus-like particle to a mammal comprising heterologous immune cells and isolating a population of immunoglobulin-producing cells from the mammal, thereby producing the antibodies or antibody fragments thereof.

FUSION PROTEINS COMPRISING AN ANTI-CD40 ANTIBODY AND CANCER ANTIGENS

The present invention includes compositions and methods for the expression, secretion and use of novel compositions for use as, e.g., vaccines and antigen delivery vectors, to delivery antigens to antigen presenting cells. In one embodiment, the vector is an anti-CD40 antibody, or fragments thereof, and one or more antigenic peptides linked to the anti-CD40 antibody or fragments thereof, including humanized antibodies.

The present invention relates to novel immunogens based on overlapping peptides (OLPs) and peptides derived therefrom useful for the prevention and treatment of AIDS and its related opportunistic diseases. The invention also relates to isolated nucleic acids, vectors and host cells expressing these immunogens as well as vaccines including said immunogens.

FUSION PROTEINS COMPRISING AN ANTI-CD40 ANTIBODY AND HIV ANTIGENIC PEPTIDES

The present invention includes compositions and methods for the expression, secretion and use of novel compositions for use as, e.g., vaccines and antigen delivery vectors, to delivery antigens to antigen presenting cells. In one embodiment, the vector is an anti-CD40 antibody, or fragments thereof, and one or more antigenic peptides linked to the anti-CD40 antibody or fragments thereof, including humanized antibodies.

Method for preparing cells expressing Nef-fusion proteins associated with exosomes

The present application relates to methods of producing exosomes. The application also provides a method for preparing a protein composition comprising culturing an exosome-producing cell expressing a Nef-fusion protein comprising a Nef-derived peptide fused to a protein of interest; isolating exosomes from the exosome-producing cell culture; and purifying the protein of interest from the isolated exosomes. The application further discloses compositions that comprise exosomes containing the Nef-fusion protein, as well as methods of using the Nef-fusion protein and exosomes containing the Nef-fusion protein.

Use of a HIV derived accessory protein for the reactivation of latent HIV

The present invention concerns the use of a protein comprising at least a HIV-derived accessory protein tat (trans-activator of transcription) or any derivative thereof for the reactivation of latent human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) from cells present in a HIV-infected patient.
