MEDICAL COMPRESSION GARMENT WITH A SPECIAL JOINT SECTION FOR INCREASED RANGE OF MOTION
A medical compression garment for applying compression to a patient's body part comprises a first material (3) adapted to be wrapped around the body part, and a second material fixated on a section of the first material (3), wherein the second material (4) collapses the first material (3) such that the first material (3) forms wrinkles (5) along the section.
Disposable padded tape
Disclosed herein are devices for preventing or treating an injury to an individual. Also provided are devices and methods for alleviating pain or discomfort caused by equipment or other padding or articles of clothing or uniform. The device can include a disposable padded tape having a plurality of force absorbing zones. It can also include an adhesive layer for attaching the device to a body contacting surface.
Method and apparatus for mandibular support
A mandible support device comprising a structural member comprising a support component and an adhesive component. The support component is configured to extend from the head or face above the mandible to the region of the gonial angle, or from the gonial angle on a first side of a face to the gonial angle on a second side of a face, across the premaxilla region of the face. The adhesive component is configured such that the structural member can be temporarily attached to the skin.
Pressure-sensing compression bandage
A pressure-sensing compression bandage having a plurality of pressure sensors provided to indicate the pressures applied by and/or the pressure gradient created by, the applied bandage at various locations along its length when the bandage is applied to a limb or other extremity.
THERMOFORMABLE ORTHOSIS APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
An improved thermoformable orthosis apparatus for being selectively formed and applied and removed having offset zipper closures on two shell members for improved hinging and opening and access for initial application and forming when malleable and for removing and reinstalling when hardened.
Electric bandage for accelerated wound recovery
A wearable medical bandage is provided having an energy harvesting generator that harvests mechanical energy from the user's natural body and muscle motions to produce electrical energy. The electrical energy induces an electric potential across the wound opening producing accelerated skin wound recovery under the voltage fluctuations produced by the power generator.
Daneshvar wound managing system and methods
This invention is related to wound care in humans and animals, and they reduce the use of adhesives. Also allows the process of wound dressing to be faster, easier, and applicable even with one hand. In these models, a support unit and straps are used. These straps are stretchable and attach to a zone of the hook fastener on the support on a detachable, re-attachable basis. In some models the support unit will function as the stabilizer of the system or to make the functions simpler. The main idea is used in making multiple models for use in different areas of the body. In other models the unit allows guarding the skin and wound site or for the protection of the wound. All in all, the applicant has tried to introduce units for improving the humans and animals life.
DECOMPRESSION WRAP
A decompression wrap includes an occlusive layer formed as a first strip having a longitudinal axis, a manifold layer coupled to the occlusive layer and formed as a second strip extending parallel to the longitudinal axis. The occlusive layer extends beyond the manifold layer in a first lateral direction perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. The decompression wrap also includes an adhesive provided on the occlusive layer and configured to seal a first longitudinal section of the occlusive layer to a second longitudinal section of the occlusive layer when the decompression wrap is wrapped around a tissue site.
Adhesive film bandage for medical compression
The present invention relates to a transparent elastic compression bandage film composite for the treatment of venous diseases and tissue lesions, comprising a transparent film layer of 5-50 microns thickness, a medical adhesive coated on at least a portion of one surface of the film layer, which is preferably hypoallergenic, a first release liner for longitudinal detachment covering the adhesive film surface and, optionally, a second release liner for longitudinal detachment to serve as a carrier, wherein the effects of elasticity and of strong adhesion add to a compression quality superior to textile European standard compression media, in the main affecting superficial varicosities and long-term wearing.
COMPRESSION BANDAGE WITH OPTIMIZED SURFACE
A compression bandage formed by a knit obtained by warp stitch technology, based on synthetic yarns which is made up of two textile surfaces whose textile structure is identical or different connected to each other by spacer yarns. Each textile surface has elastic yarns and the spacer yarn being a monofilament. The knit has a longitudinal elongation measured according to standard EN 14704-1 of between 30 and 160%. The textile surface which comes into contact with the skin has synthetic multifilament yarns, the filaments of which have a count of between 1.2 and 5 dtex and the number of filaments is between 15 and 150, and a dynamic coefficient of friction measured according to standard EN ISO 8295 greater than or equal to 0.25 and less than or equal to 1.2.
