POSITIVE TEMPERATURE COEFFICIENT CERAMIC THERMISTOR ELEMENT HAVING STRONG REDUCING ATMOSPHERE RESISTANCE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
A positive temperature coefficient ceramic thermistor element includes a sintered thermosensitive ceramic piece that uses lead barium titanate as a base, as well as metal ohmic electrodes which are positioned on two side surfaces of the thermosensitive ceramic piece. The thermistor element has a microporous channel barrier layer, and includes a glass sealing layer which wraps the outer surface of the thermosensitive ceramic piece, or an organic matter sealant which fills and blocks micro-pores in the surfaces of the metal ohmic electrodes combined on the two side surfaces of the thermosensitive ceramic piece and, at the same time, blocks gaps in the surfaces of areas, that do not have the metal ohmic electrodes, of a peripheral edge of the thermosensitive ceramic piece.
MATERIAL RESTORATION COMPOSITION
A material restoration system disclosed herein. The material restoration system includes a first composition (referred to herein as Composition A) and a second composition (referred to herein as Composition B). Composition A is a cleaning, stain-lifting, and rejuvenation product which is permeable into many construction materials (i.e. concrete). Composition A is capable of removing surface contaminants, including salt, surface rust, calcification and hard water byproducts, oxidation, and efflorescence. Composition A permeates into the material and acts to lift stains. Composition B is a surface applicant and can be used to resurface construction materials (particularly concrete) or fill voids and damage broken construction materials. Composition B has strong bonding properties and is able to provide structural benefits when used to fill cracks and chips.
FLEXIBLE TRANSLUCENT TO TRANSPARENT FIREPROOF COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A fireproof, translucent, flexible coated fabric composite material for use in fire curtains. The composite material meets or exceeds regulatory requirements in terms of fire endurance and allows transmissivity of necessary amounts of light. The process of the present disclosure combines a silica fabric with a special refractory index controlled resin. This unique combination of materials can transform an opaque high temperature fabric into a translucent, and even transparent, composite which as the ability to resist high temperature, flame and smoke penetration that fills a needed gap in technology between visibility and fire resistance in the field of fire and smoke curtains used in civil construction.
Resin-Impregnated Boron Nitride Body and a Method for Producing a Resin-Impregnated Boron Nitride Body
A resin-impregnated boron nitride body includes a polymer-derived boron nitride and a resin. A process for manufacturing such a resin-impregnated boron nitride body includes: polymerizing a boron nitride molecular precursor into a preceramic polymer shaping the preceramic polymer to form an infusible polymer body; submitting the polymer body to a thermal treatment to obtain a boron nitride body; impregnating the boron nitride body with a resin; and curing the resin.
PROCESS FOR PREPARING A STORAGE-STABLE SILICONE RESIN
A process is described for preparing a storage-stable mixture including an MDT silicone resin containing hydroxyl groups and an organic compound that contains at least one epoxy group.

Stabilized Solutions of Alkylalkoxysilane Hydrolysates and Flexible Films Formed Thereof
A stabilized mixture containing an alkyltrialkoxysilane hydrolysate solution and an amine functional silicone emulsion is provided. The stabilized mixture may be utilized in a masonry treatment product or a cellulosic or wood treatment product, such as to provide waterproofing properties, or in a hair care treatment product for improving hair combability. A method of preparing the mixture involves hydrolyzing an alkoxysilane to form an aqueous solution containing alkylsilanetriols and/or oligomeric alkylsilanetriol condensates; and stabilizing the solution by adding an amine functional silicone.

Method of forming a hydrolysis resistant aqueous emulsion
A hydrolysis resistant aqueous emulsion includes a hydrolyzable silicon containing compound. This emulsion is formed by a method that includes the step of (A) forming a seed emulsion that includes (1) an emulsifier, (2) water, and (3) a first oil phase. The method also includes the step of (B) adding a second oil phase, including a hydrolyzable silicon containing compound, to the seed emulsion. A weight ratio of the second oil phase including the hydrolyzable silicon containing compound to the first oil phase in the seed emulsion is from 0.5 to 50. Moreover, a total weight of the first and second oil phases in the emulsion is at least 60 weight percent.
