MULTI-AZIRIDINE COMPOUND

The present invention relates to a multi-aziridine compound having: a) at least 2 of the following structural units (A) whereby R.sub.1 is H; R.sub.2 and R.sub.4 are independently chosen from H, a linear group containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms and optionally containing one or more heteroatoms, a branched or cyclic group containing from 3 to 8 carbon atoms and optionally containing one or more heteroatoms, phenyl, benzyl, or pyridinyl; R.sub.3 is chosen from a linear group containing from 1 to 8 carbon atoms and optionally containing one or more heteroatoms, a branched or cyclic group containing from 3 to 8 carbon atoms and optionally containing one or more heteroatoms, phenyl, benzyl, or pyridinyl; or R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 (in case R.sub.2 is different than H) may be part of the same cyclic group containing from 3 to 8 carbon atoms; R′ and R″ are independently H or an aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing from 1 to 12 carbon atoms; and b) a molecular weight of at least 600 Daltons, wherein the molecular weight is determined using MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry according to the description.

Provided herein is a method of producing a polyurethane foam. The method includes dispersing turbostratic graphene in a polymerization solution. The polymerization solution includes a first component for polymerization into a polymer. The method includes adding a second component for polymerizing with the first component to chemically convert the polymerization solution into a polyurethane foam. Provided herein is also a polyurethane foam which includes a turbostratic graphene and a polymer formed from the polymerization of a polyol with an isocyanate. Provided herein is also a turbostratic graphene dispersion which includes a turbostratic graphene and a solvent for dispersing the turbostratic graphene.

AQUEOUS DISPERSION COMPRISING POLYURETHANE OR POLYURETHANE-UREA, PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR AND USE THEREOF

Aqueous dispersion comprising polyurethane or polyurethane-urea, a preparation method therefor and a use thereof. The polyurethane or polyurethane-urea is prepared by reacting raw materials comprising the following components: a compound having a tertiary amine group and at least one NCO reactive functional group, a polyester polyol having a number average molecular weight of 400 to 5000 and a functionality of 2 to 3, an organic compound having at least two isocyanate groups, a hydrophilic compound having one or more of an ionic group, a potential ionic group and a non-ionic group and having 2 to 3 NCO reactive functional groups, and a mono-functional non-ionic hydrophilic compound having at least one NCO reactive functional group. The aqueous dispersion can be stably stored for a prolonged period of time, and an adhesive prepared from the aqueous dispersion has an improved hydrolysis resistance while maintaining good bonding strength and heat resistance.

Aqueous dispersion comprising polyurethane or polyurethane-urea, a preparation method therefor and a use thereof. The aqueous dispersion can be stably stored for a prolonged period of time, and an adhesive prepared from the aqueous dispersion has an improved hydrolysis resistance while maintaining good bonding strength and heat resistance.

LOW TEMPERATURE CURE COATING COMPOSITIONS

A film-forming thermoset coating composition includes: (a) an aqueous medium; and Option 1 and/or Option 2 as follows: Option 1: (b1) polyurethane-acrylate core-shell particles including a polymeric acrylic core at least partially encapsulated by a polymeric shell including urethane linkages, where the polymeric shell includes an acid functional group and two or more hydrazide functional groups, where the polymeric shell is covalently bonded to at least a portion of the polymeric core; and (c1) (i) formaldehyde; (ii) polyformaldehyde; and/or (iii) a compound that generates formaldehyde; Option 2: (b2) polyurethane-acrylate core-shell particles including a polymeric acrylic core at least partially encapsulated by a polymeric shell including urethane linkages, where the polymeric shell includes an acid functional group and two or more N-methylolated hydrazide functional groups, where the polymeric shell is covalently bonded to at least a portion of the polymeric core.

LOW TEMPERATURE CURE COATING COMPOSITIONS

SEMI-RIGID POLYURETHANE FOAM FORMULATION AND METHOD FOR MAKING FOAMED PARTS

Composites having a polymer or natural leather skin layer and a polyurethane foam layer are made in a molding process. The polyurethane foam layer is made from a foam formulation that includes certain polyester polyols. The presence of the polyester polyol improves flow characteristics of the foam formulation. The foam so produced has unexpectedly low quantities of VOCs.

WATER-DISPERSIBLE POLYURETHANE

A process for preparing a polymeric membrane for materials used in crop production comprising: a) providing an aqueous dispersion of a polyurethane or polyurethane-urea elastomer comprising segments formed from the copolymer segment of Formula I
