Urethane based materials, derivatives, methods of their preparation and uses
The invention pertains to the technical field of urethane based materials, in particular to radiation curable urethane precursors that are cross-linkable in solid form and materials obtainable therefrom. In addition the invention pertains to methods for manufacturing these precursors and materials, and their uses. The invention is advantageous to the fields of i.e. coatings and biomedical applications.
FLOOR COATINGS COMPRISING A RESIN, A CURE SYSTEM AND DIAMOND PARTICLES AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
A curable coating for a substrate is disclosed that includes a curable resin containing at least one polyester urethane acrylate and monomers, a cure system and diamond particles. Methods of making the curable coatings and methods of making a coated flooring material are also included.
FIBROUS MATERIAL
Fibrous materials are provided that comprise a cross-linkable urethane-based polymer (CUP) and an oligomeric or macromonomeric urethane-based cross-linker. The fibrous materials may be used in hydrogels, in filtration devices, in affinity membranes, in (protective) clothing, in drug delivery systems, and in tissue scaffolds, for example. The fibrous materials are useable also in human and/or veterinary medicine, such as in skin care and/or wound care.
RADIATION CURABLE COMPOSITIONS WITH ANTI-STAIN PROPERTIES
The radiation curable compositions (I) that comprise from 10 to 80 by weight of at least one silicone-modified urethane (meth) acrylate (A), from 0.5 to 60 by weight of at least one (meth) acrylated compound (B) bearing at least 5 (meth) acryloyl groups per molecule, and optionally, from 10 to 60% by weight of at least one compound (C) different from (A) or (B), wherein the weight percentages are on the total weight of the composition (I). These materials can be used for producing coatings, inks and overprint varnishes with excellent anti-stain properties, to their use and preparation. Materials of the invention are compatible with standard radiation curable materials. They allow to obtain excellent anti-stain properties for high gloss coatings as well as for matte coatings (II) with a gloss level at 60 of at most 15, even at most 10.
CURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR STEREOLITHOGRAPHY, CURED PRODUCT, AND THREE-DIMENSIONAL OBJECT
The present invention provides a curable resin composition for stereolithography, which contains a urethane resin (A) having a (meth)acryloyl group and a photopolymerization initiator. The content of (meth)acryloyl group in the urethane resin (A) is 0.8 mmol/g or more and 2.2 mmol/g or less. The curable resin composition for stereolithography has low viscosity and can form a cured product excellent elastic modulus and impact resistance because of high impact strength and little change with time.
ACTIVE ENERGY RAY-CURABLE RESIN COMPOSITION, RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING RESIN MOLDED ARTICLE
An active energy ray-curable resin composition which contains (A) inorganic oxide particles each having an organic functional group on the surface, (B) a siloxane oligomer which has at least one functional group selected from the group consisting of a (meth)acryloyl group, an epoxy group and a vinyl group, while having a weight average molecular weight of 200-3,000, (C) a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate having a specific structure, (D) a urethane (meth)acrylate having two or more (meth)acryloyl groups in each molecule, and (E) an ultraviolet absorbent.

A high-recoverability resin particles having a mean particle size of 1 to 100 m containing a cross-linked (meth)acrylic acid ester-based resin, wherein the high-recoverability resin particles have a recovery rate of 22% or greater, and a 30% compression strength of 1.5 to 5.0 kgf/mm.sup.2.
High-recoverability resin particles of a crosslinked (meth)acrylic acid ester-based resin, and use thereof
AQUEOUS DISPERSION, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Provided are an aqueous dispersion including a microcapsule that has a shell having a three-dimensional cross-linked structure containing at least one bond selected from a urethane bond or a urea bond, and has a core, in which at least one of the shell or the core has a polymerizable group, including a dispersant that has at least one bond selected from a urethane bond or a urea bond and a hydrophilic group, and including water; a method for manufacturing the aqueous dispersion; and an image forming method using the aqueous dispersion.
