A degradable EVOH high-barrier composite film, characterized in that the materials of various layers in the composite film all obtain approximately-consistent biodegradability by introducing biomass, and the additive amount of the additive master batch in the materials of each layer is controlled within the range of 0.3-15% of the total mass of the materials of the corresponding layer; the hydrophilic activity of the hydrophilic groups in the additive master batch should be greater than or equal to that of the hydrophilic groups in the materials of each layer; by adding the additive master batch, the mole ratios of the hydrophilic groups to carbon atoms of the materials of various layers tend to be consistent, namely, the bioactivities tend to be consistent, so that the degradation rates of the materials of various layers in the composite film tend to be consistent. The present invention makes contribution to obtaining approximately-consistent bioactivities and approximately-consistent biodegradation rates by balancing the mole ratios of the hydrophilic groups to carbon atoms in the materials of various layers, and the appearance, the functions and the physical and mechanical properties of a product remain unchanged.

The resulting resin composition is capable of forming a multilayer structure that has suppressed occurrence of appearance failure and minimized color tone deterioration at the time of its melt molding.

The instant disclosure relates to a fluorine-containing ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) resin composition as well as mixture and blend thereof. The fluorine-containing EVOH resin composition comprises EVOH and fluorine-containing particles, wherein the fluorine-containing EVOH resin composition has a total fluoride ion content ranging from 45 to 41000 ppm. The invention can reduce the adhesion of EVOH to the inside of the extruder, and effectively reduce the appearance of gel or gelled substance in subsequent finished products.

The instant disclosure relates to saponified pellets of an ethylene-vinyl ester based copolymer as well as a film and a multilayer structure formed therefrom. The saponified pellets of an ethylene-vinyl ester based copolymer has an ethylene content of 24-35 mole %, and the pellets have a turbidity of less than 300 NTU when dissolved in a 60% (w/w) methanol aqueous solution; or the pellet has an ethylene content of 36-48 mole %, and the pellets have a turbidity of less than 200 NTU when dissolved in a 80% (w/w) methanol aqueous solution. The present invention controls the amount of aggregates by controlling the turbidity of the saponified pellets of an ethylene-vinyl ester based copolymer dissolved in methanol aqueous to reduce the amount of gel produced after film formation.

In at least one embodiment, a composition includes: (1) an ethylene polymer, (2) a vinyl alcohol polymer or a polyamide, and (3) a polar polymer or a grafted polyolefin. A composition of the present disclosure may further include a polypropylene polymer. A polar polymer may be an ethylene-acrylic-acid-copolymer, ethylene acrylate copolymer, a polyvinyl acetate, or combination(s) thereof. In at least one embodiment, a film includes a composition having: (1) an ethylene polymer, (2) a vinyl alcohol polymer or a polyamide, and (3) a polar polymer or a grafted polyolefin.
