Method of Manufacturing Headlining Using Moisture-Curing Adhesive and Headlining Manufactured Thereby
Disclosed herein is a method of manufacturing a headlining, using a moisture-curing adhesive that can be molded at a relatively low temperature and enables energy saving by not requiring a condition in which bonding surfaces are preheated to an excessively high temperature. A headlining manufactured thereby the same method is also disclosed. The method includes coating a fabric with a moisture-curing adhesive, curing the moisture-curing adhesive by spraying water onto the moisture-curing adhesive, forming a headlining member by putting the fabric coated with the moisture-curing adhesive on a substrate after the curing, and pressing the headlining member so that the fabric and the substrate are bonded to each other and the headlining is shaped at the same time, after the forming.
Organic amine salt foamer
Disclosed is an organic amine salt foaming agent, that is, a composite polyurethane foaming agent, comprising: 1) hexafluorobutene; and 2) an alkanolamine salt mixture (MAA), the alkanolamine salt mixture (MAA) contains an organic amine salt compound having the following general formula (I): A.sup.n−[B.sup.m+].sub.p (I); wherein A.sup.n− is one or two or three selected from the following anions: (b) carbonate: CO.sub.3.sup.2−; (c) formate: HCOO.sup.−; (d) bicarbonate: HO—COO.sup.−. A polyurethane foaming method using carbon dioxide and an organic amine in combination is also disclosed, in which carbon dioxide is added to a polyurethane composition for foaming. A method for preparing an alkanolamine carbonate salt with low water content from ammonium carbonate and an epoxide is additionally disclosed, in which a liquid alkanolamine salt mixture is used as a dispersion medium or as a solvent for reaction raw material.
2-part reactive urethane resin composition and method for producing thereof
Provided is a material having an excellent sound-absorbing performance which can be easily applied to the desired area at the operation site and which can effectively prevent sound leakage. The material includes an open-cell soft polyurethane foam prepared from a 2-part reactive urethane resin composition prepared from a polyisocyanate component and a polyol-containing component, wherein the polyol-containing component comprises a polyol component, catalysts, a foam stabilizer, an amine compound having primary or secondary amino groups, and carbon dioxide; wherein an average sound absorption coefficient of said polyurethane foam is 30% or more, measured in accordance with JIS A 1405-2:2007 for 63 hertz to 5000 hertz; and the length of liquid-dripping is within 300 mm.
Two-component polyurethane adhesive
The present disclosure relates to a two-component polyurethane adhesive, based on a polyol component A and a polyisocyanate component B. The two-component polyurethane adhesive exhibits fast cure speed, good adhesion properties and good durability. The two-component polyurethane adhesive is developed for the adhesion adhesion of substrates, wherein the substrates are preferably selected from the group comprising sheet molding compounds (SMCs) and plastic substrates.

Provided are an electroviscous fluid exhibiting a high ER effect and having sufficient durability, and a cylinder device. An electroviscous fluid of the present invention includes a fluid and polyurethane particles containing metal ions. The polyurethane particles have a phase separation structure of a hard segment and a soft segment, and contain an additive increasing a urethane bond forming the hard segment.
Bacterial Cellulose-Polyurethane Composite Material, Preparation Method Therefor, and Application Thereof
A bacterial cellulose-polyurethane composite material, preparation method, and use are described. The preparation method comprises: performing organic solvent exchange on bacterial cellulose microfibers, and obtaining bacterial cellulose microfiber composite substance A and composite substance B of different concentrations; under oil bath conditions, adding a polymer polyol and a diisocyanate compound and performing an addition polymerization reaction, obtaining, via the reaction, a bacterial cellulose composite polyurethane foam prepolymer; and subsequently performing curing and obtaining the bacterial cellulose-polyurethane composite material. By combining bacterial cellulose microfibers and polyurethane foam material, the mechanical properties of the composite material are significantly improved; the large amount of hydroxyl groups on the surfaces of the bacterial cellulose nanofibers effectively strengthens the hydrophilicity and water absorption capability of the composite material; and the favorable tissue affinity of bacterial cellulose can also improve the biocompatibility of polyurethane material.
Composition for forming environmentally friendly polyurethane foam and method for manufacturing polyurethane foam
The present invention relates to a composition for forming an environmentally friendly polyurethane foam, the composition having improved storage stability, air permeability, and anti-oxidation characteristics and to a method for manufacturing a polyurethane foam and, more specifically, to an isocyanate pre-polymer prepared by reaction of a polyisocyanate and a polyol component comprising a bio-polyol, to a composition for forming an environmentally friendly polyurethane foam, the composition having improved storage stability, air permeability, and anti-oxidative characteristics by comprising the pre-polymer as one component, to a method for manufacturing a polyurethane foam using the same, and to an environmentally friendly polyurethane foam manufactured thereby.
IMPACT RESISTANT GARMENT
An impact resistant textile-supported garment, or component thereof, comprises a fabric layer, and (i) at least five non-interconnected impact resistant polyurethane segments upon an outer surface of the fabric layer, wherein at least two of the non-interconnected impact resistant polyurethane segments has a depth of at least 3 mm, preferably at least 4 mm, and wherein at least five of the plurality of non-interconnected segments have dimensions smaller than 1.75 cm × 1 cm × 1 cm; or (ii) at least one non-interconnected impact resistant polyurethane segment, wherein the at least one segment has a depth of at least 3 mm at its deepest part, and wherein the at least one segment is a hollow segment comprising one or more regions defined by an outer polyurethane perimeter, surrounding a region of fabric that is not covered by polyurethane.
Two-component polyurethane adhesive composition and bonding method thereof
The present disclosure provides a two-component polyurethane adhesive composition and a bonding method thereof. The two-component polyurethane adhesive composition includes A) a polyol component, and B) an isocyanate component. The polyol component includes A1) one or more polyether polyols, and the isocyanate component includes B1) a first isocyanate prepolymer, wherein the first isocyanate prepolymer is polymerized from isocyanate and a non-linear chain extender. The two-component polyurethane adhesive composition of the present disclosure has good mechanical properties, in particular, high G modulus and high elongation. The polyol component in the two-component polyurethane adhesive composition has good phase stability, and good miscibility with the isocyanate component. The two-component polyurethane adhesive composition of the present disclosure can be used for the production and manufacture of mechanical parts such as automobile components.
Viscoelastic Polyurethane Foam with Aqueous Polymer Dispersion
A reaction system for forming a viscoelastic polyurethane foam includes an isocyanate component that has at least one isocyanate and an isocyanate-reactive component that is a mixture formed by adding at least a polyol component, an additive component, and a preformed aqueous polymer dispersion. The mixture includes, based on the total weight of the mixture, from 50.0 wt % to 99.8 wt % of a polyol component including at least one polyether polyol, from 0.1 wt % to 50.0 wt % of an additive component including at least one catalyst, and from 0.1 wt % to 6.0 wt % of a preformed aqueous polymer dispersion. The preformed aqueous polymer dispersion has a solids content from 10 wt % to 80 wt %, based on the total weight of the preformed aqueous polymer dispersion, and is one of an aqueous acid polymer dispersion or an aqueous acid modified polyolefin polymer dispersion in which the polyolefin is derived from at least one C.sub.2 to C.sub.20 alpha-olefin.
