Wheelchair
It is an object to make it easy to unfold a wheelchair simply by lifting a part of the wheelchair with one hand. A wheelchair includes a folding mechanism that folds a left-side support arm and a right-side support arm. The folding mechanism includes a grip part coupled to the distal end part of the left-side support arm and the distal end part of the right-side support arm. The grip part extends in the pivoting direction of the left-side support arm and the right-side support arm at a time of switching from a folded state to an unfolded state.
Personal mobility vehicle
A personal mobility vehicle 1 includes one or more automation components, a vault 2, and locking means 3 adapted to lock the vault 2. The automation components include at least one of a motor controller, computing processors, or a battery to power other automation components, or combination thereof. The functional components are the components that either display various information related to navigation of the vehicle, or receive inputs to be processed by the computing processor or microcontroller, or receives triggers from the motor controller or the computing processor regarding the functioning of the functional components, or combination thereof. Inside the vault 2, the automation components are placed, such that the automation components are functionally connected to other functional components of the vehicle 1. The embodiment helps to safeguard the automation components, and keep them protected, such that authorized personnel have access to the automation components inside the vault. These automation components are critical to functioning of the vehicle 1.
WHEELED CHAIR
A kit of parts which when assembled will provide a wheeled chair and include a central frame member to which all other elements are connected.
Collapsible manual wheelchair system for improved propulsion and transfers
A manual wheelchair including a collapsible frame having a first lateral member that is connected to first and second braces at their respective first ends. A drive wheel axle extends along a first axis of rotation and engages a drive wheel, the first brace, and a portion of a transmission. A push rim axle extends along a second axis of rotation and engages a push rim wheel, the second brace, and a portion of the transmission, which transmits rotation of the push rim to rotation of the drive wheel. The collapsible frame additionally includes a second lateral member that is connected to the first and second braces as their respective second ends. The first and second braces are configured to release the second lateral member to collapse the manual wheelchair.
Wheelchair Electric Mobility Attachment and A Wheelchair having Integrated Electric Mobility Capability
Disclosed is a Wheelchair Electric Mobility Attachment including a rear wheels chassis functionally connected to a front chassis fork, for positioning two or more rear wheels of the mobility attachment, as part of a wheelchair connection scheme, at a position behind (further back from) the axle of the rear wheels of the wheelchair to which said attachment is being connected.
Compact wheelchair assembly with removable wheels and methods therefor
A wheelchair (100) includes a chassis (101) defining a seat (102), a backrest (103), one or more armrests (104,105), and an undercarriage (106). One or more front caster wheels (118,119) are coupled to, and selectively detachable from, the undercarriage. One or more rear wheel assemblies (120,121) each include a rear wheel (125), an axle (127), and a mounting post (129) extending distally from the axle at a substantially orthogonal angle relative to the axle. One or more quick release devices (130,131) couple each mounting post of each rear wheel assembly to the undercarriage such that the each the one or more rear wheel assemblies is selectively detachable from the undercarriage.
COLLAPSIBLE MANUAL WHEELCHAIR SYSTEM FOR IMPROVED PROPULSION AND TRANSFERS
A manual wheelchair including a collapsible frame having a first lateral member that is connected to first and second braces at their respective first ends. A drive wheel axel extends along a first axis of rotation and engages a drive wheel, the first brace, and a portion of a transmission. A push rim axel extends along a second axis of rotation and engages a push rim wheel, the second brace, and a portion of the transmission, which transmits rotation of the push rim to rotation of the drive wheel. The collapsible frame additionally includes a second lateral member that is connected to the first and second braces as their respective second ends. The first and second braces are configured to release the second lateral member to collapse the manual wheelchair.
CARING MACHINE, OVERHANGING MACHINE AND HOST MODULE COMPRISED THEREIN
Disclosed are a main unit module and an assistive device equipped with the main unit module, for example, a nursing machine and an overhanging machine. The main unit module comprises a shifting module, a supporting framework module and a coupling module; the supporting framework module is assembled above the shifting module, the coupling module is provided on the supporting framework module. The opening and closing operations of wheel leg sets in the shifting module can drive and control the movement of the main unit module. The supporting framework module is loaded with a nursing module having different functions, so that the main unit module has a plurality of different nursing functions. By means of the main unit module, one or a combination of a loading module, a jacking module, a supporting module and a large wheel module can be loaded on the nursing machine, and by means of the main unit module or the nursing machine, one or a combination of a suspension support module, a sling machine, a cross bar, and a hanging cloth can be loaded on the overhanging machine. Therefore, a user can achieve multiple purposes by means of the nursing machine or the overhanging machine, and different modules can be freely matched, thereby facilitating the assembly, disassembly, storage and transportation, and saving the cost.
Wheelchair lift assembly
A wheelchair lift assembly includes a wheelchair. The wheelchair has a pair of seats and a frame. Each of the seats is hingedly coupled to the frame. Each of the seats is positionable in a stored position having each of the seats being horizontally oriented on the frame. Each of the seats is positionable in a lifted position having the each of the seats hinging upwardly from the upper front member. A lifting unit is coupled to the wheelchair. The lifting unit selectively urges each of the seats between the stored position and the lifted position. Thus, the lifting unit may lift a user thereby facilitating the user to exit the wheelchair.
