Lift assembly for patient support apparatus

A patient support apparatus comprises a base and a support frame. The patient support apparatus also comprises a lift assembly that operates to lift and lower the support frame relative to the base. The lift assembly comprises lift members that extend and collapse to lift and lower the support frame. Guides operate to guide movement of the lift members during operation. In some cases guided bodies coupled to the lift members move passively in the guides. In other embodiments, driven members coupled to the lift members move actively in the guides to cause lifting and lowering of the support frame.

CARE BED

A care bed includes a bed body provided with a groove and a wheelchair disposed in the groove. The wheelchair includes: a wheelchair support sequentially provided with a wheelchair back plate, a seat plate, a leg plate and a foot plate, and the seat plate is fixed to the wheelchair support; a double-traction lifting regulator disposed below a connection position between the wheelchair back plate and the seat plate; a locking member disposed on the double-traction lifting regulator; a first traction member connected to the locking member; and a second traction member connected to the locking member. When the wheelchair is combined with the bed body, the second traction member controls the locking member to be loosened; and when the wheelchair is separated from the bed body, the second traction member controls the locking member to be locked.

Elevated height wheelchair

Embodiments of the present disclosure include a wheelchair configured to reposition an occupant between a lowered and a raised position. The wheelchair can include a frame, a seat moveable relative to the frame, a drive wheel, and one or more pairs of arm assemblies. The arm assembly includes a wheel configured to move from a first spatial location when the wheel chair is operating on flat, level ground to a second spatial location that is different than the first spatial location. Arm limiters that can selectively engage the arm assembly dependent on the position of the arm assembly and surface conditions of ground and can limit the range of motion of the arm assembly and sometimes other operational aspects of the chair.

POOL LIFT FOR THE AUTONOMOUS ACCESS TO A POOL OF WHEELCHAIR USERS AND PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY
20200129354 · 2020-04-30 ·

Pool access lift, for wheelchair users or persons with reduced mobility who cannot use the ladder. The lift interfaces with the edge of the pool and operates in vertical movement, bringing users to a buoyancy condition. It may be used by wheelchair users (access is possible while the user is in the wheelchair and does not need to change seat). When ascending, the user may return to the wheelchair and rise to the level of the surrounding area, without any help from qualified operators of any machinery. It provides autonomy to users, who do not need further assistance in relation to any of their transports. Autonomy is very important to people with reduced mobility. It is anchored outside the pool. Thus, the pool must not be emptied (which considerably saves money and time, with particular reference to hotels).

Wheelchair Lift Apparatus

A wheelchair lift apparatus for assisted wheelchair loading and unloading includes a base frame having a front end, a rear end, a left side, and a right side. A plurality of wheels is coupled to the base frame. A vertical frame is perpendicularly coupled to the rear end of the base frame. A lift track is coupled to the vertical frame. A lift car is coupled to the lift track and has a track engagement portion and a perpendicular platform. The track engagement portion is slidably engageable with the lift track. A seat is coupled to the perpendicular platform. A lift bracket is coupled to the rear end of the base frame. A lift mechanism is coupled to the lift bracket and is in operational communication with the lift car to move the lift car to and from a lowered position and an alternate raised position.

A wheelchair lifting device is disclosed. The wheelchair lifting device has a stationary platform, a movable lift assembly, a number of motorized lifting jacks, a foot stand platform, a battery power supply and a wireless lift controller and receiver. The movable lift assembly is attached to the stationary platform by the lifting jacks, and the movable lift assembly can be lifted and lowered relative to the stationary platform by the lifting jacks. The base of the movable lift assembly may be level with or nearly level with the stationary platform when in a lowered position to enable a wheelchair to roll onto the lift assembly without requiring a ramp. In some embodiments, the wheelchair lift includes a scale to weigh the occupant.
